Book99 is the app for people who like to organize their own reading, track their progress, and get suggestions for what's next, either on their own or with a book club.
PERSONAL LIBRARY
Build your shelf with the books you want to read, are reading, or have already finished. Scan the barcode (ISBN) of a physical book with your camera to add it in seconds, or search by title and author.
BUILT-IN EPUB READER
Upload your EPUB files and read inside the app: light, sepia, dark, and e-ink themes; adjustable font, size, and spacing; an on-screen progress indicator. Your position syncs across your devices, and a downloaded book opens with no connection. Your progress can also appear on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while you read.
PROGRESS TRACKING
Update your current page and watch the bar fill. Book99 records when you started and finished each book, works out how long it took, and gathers your data in "Your reading progress": books and pages read, average days per book, average rating, and your current streak.
SUGGESTIONS
As you rate the books you finish, Book99 suggests new titles that fit your taste.
BOOK CLUBS (CLUB99)
Create or join a club with an invite code. Suggest books, vote on the group's next read, follow everyone's progress in the current book, and comment with the other members. Owners can promote admins; members can leave whenever they want.
SHORTCUTS & SIRI
Open or close your reading session, log the pages you've read, scan a new book, or check today's stats with Siri or the Shortcuts app and build your own automations without opening Book99.
WORKS OFFLINE
Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Your library, books, covers, and the reader stay available with no connection and sync when you're back online.

- The reader now measures progress by the EPUB's actual length, so the percentage on your shelf matches what you see while reading.
- Your page is saved the moment you leave the reader — no more losing the last few pages.

- The reading Live Activity shows the book cover and now disappears after 30 minutes of inactivity.
