Weekly season. Every Monday everyone starts from zero: the season counts only the points you collect during that week, so a newcomer has a real chance against someone who has been playing for months. Finish the week in the top third and your rank rises — six of them, from Novice to Legend. Your rivals are real Game Center players, not invented names. The top three take coins — 500, 300 and 200 — and everyone else in the top third gets 100. Ukraine, Switzerland, Japan, Greece and Iceland now have a picture of their own for every level, with no repeats at all. The first season starts on Monday, 19 October.

We changed how we describe the pictures. Every image in Worldpiece is a photo-realistic picture made for this game — not a photograph taken with a camera. The game itself is unchanged.

Full Game now unlocks all 75 countries — the five that were sold separately are included. Your progress now follows you. iCloud carries levels, coins and your daily streak to your other devices — nothing to set up. The daily puzzle is now the very same picture for everyone in the world at the same moment, and the leaderboard shows how fast you solved it. Plus a long list of small fixes: the clock in the status bar is readable again, the day streak is shown honestly, and an achievement once earned stays earned.
