• Pick a layout: Settings → Layouts sets up Today in one go as Default, Showers, Short, Outdoors or Everything. Save your own layout under a name, also in iCloud, and restore the previous one with a single tap. • Read any chart by swiping sideways. Swiping up and down now always scrolls the page, even when you start on a chart. Tap to pin a moment. • Hourly in detail is now a 48-hour chart: temperature and feels-like, rain, chance, wind and humidity in one view. During showers, a light bar shows what a shower could bring if it hits you. • Coming days in detail is a calm table with everything neatly lined up. • Running and cycling scores are stricter about rain and cold: cold and wet now counts. • New on first launch: a short four-step guide, also available in Settings. • Ready for iPhone Duo: unfolded, the map sits on the left and Today on the right.

• New Garden block: what this week's weather means for your garden, most urgent task first. Frost (also at ground level), storms, heat, blight weather, whether to water, sowing by soil temperature, and the best dry moment to mow or prune. • "How right was Helder?" now has Week and Day: the past week for the whole of the Netherlands, Helder next to other weather models, with how many degrees off each day and whether it was too warm or too cold. • In the Netherlands and nearby, hourly rain now comes from our own rain forecast, and each hour shows the rain of that hour itself. • Pull to refresh is more reliable: the rain forecast stays put.

• New Electricity block: the hourly power price for today and tomorrow, with the sun on top. With a dynamic tariff you see the cheapest hour, with solar panels what your roof generates, with a fixed tariff the greenest moment. Plus a planner for charging the car, a home battery and a water heater. • New block "How right was Helder?": what Helder forecast yesterday next to what was measured, for temperature and showers. • New alert for slippery roads: a heads-up when snow, freezing rain or wet roads freezing are likely. • Thunderstorms are spotted more sharply, using the lightning potential of the German weather service. • The forecast now comes from our own server in Germany.
