Dawn: Prayer Times & Qibla
Salah times, Qibla & Tasbih
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
Dawn is a calm, beautiful companion for your five daily prayers — accurate times, a qibla compass, gentle reminders, and a tasbih, all computed privately on your device and working fully offline.
EVERYTHING FREE, NOTHING LOCKED
Every feature is included for free. No subscriptions, no locked content, and no ads. If you'd like to support development, there's an optional tip jar — that's it.
ACCURATE, WITHOUT THE JARGON
Dawn automatically uses the calculation convention most mosques in your region follow — no confusing setup. Prefer a specific convention or Asr school? A tucked-away Advanced setting has you covered.
MADE FOR EVERY DAY
• Today at a glance: a live countdown to the next prayer with all five times
• Gentle reminders at each prayer time, per-prayer control
• Qibla compass with haptic confirmation when you face Makkah
• Tasbih counter with satisfying haptics and targets (33, 99, and more)
• Optional prayer tracking with a tap — or turn it off entirely
• Monthly view with full Hijri calendar support: browse by Hijri or Gregorian months
ON YOUR HOME SCREEN AND YOUR WRIST
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets with a live countdown
• Mark prayers as prayed right from the widget
• A full standalone Apple Watch app with complications
• Your tracking syncs privately between iPhone and Watch through your own iCloud
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your location is used only on your device to compute times — it never leaves it. No accounts, no analytics, no data collection. Arabic and English, with full right-to-left support.
Dawn is made with love for the Muslim community. May it help you pray on time.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
• Prayer reminders stay on schedule. Fixed an issue where notifications could stop after a few days, even if you opened the app every day.
• Widgets stay up to date. Fixed the Today's Prayers widget sometimes losing the next prayer and its countdown.
• If reminders ever do run out, you'll get a notice asking you to open the app, so they never stop without warning.
• Early reminders now appear in Arabic.
