A small update: the App Store now lists all seven languages the game has spoken since version 1.0.5. Nothing in the game itself has changed.

Fixes for smaller phones. On an iPhone SE and similar screens the start menu could hide New run, the daily and the shop below the edge; it now fits and scrolls. The open forecast no longer covers the build menu: on short screens the buttons it would cover step aside while you read it, and come back when you close it.

Nordic Outpost now speaks your language. The whole game — the board, the forecast, the upgrades, the reference and every message — is translated into Swedish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Turkish. It follows your phone's language on its own; there is nothing to set. No gameplay has changed. Same winter, same arithmetic, same par.

The daily outpost: one shared map for every player, new each day, and the same rules for everyone - no upgrades, so the number means the same thing whoever scores it. It comes with a par to beat and a result you can share. Insulation now also pushes the deep winter back, so a fully upgraded run has somewhere left to go. Bigger buttons and counters, and a new Reference tab explaining every tile, building and upgrade.
