Earnings opens on a sentence, not a spreadsheet. "Everything looks normal" — or "2 things worth a look", with what they are. Because a dashboard that only answers "how much?" is a report, and you already have one of those: it is called the AdMob console and it is on a bigger screen. The figures are still all there, one tap away. WHAT IT TELLS YOU • A placement that stopped showing ads. Requests going out, nothing coming back — invisible in a revenue total, because the app simply earns a little less. • Requests that are barely being filled, which is usually a setup problem rather than demand. • An app clicking far above the rest of your account, which is what accidental clicks look like before anyone tells you about them. You find out from a notification, not by going looking. THE NUMBERS • Today, yesterday, last 7 or 30 days, this month, last month • Every range compared against the one before it, so you see direction and not just a total • Break down by app, ad unit or country • Earnings, impressions, clicks, requests, match rate, show rate, eCPM and RPM • Tap any day on the chart to read that day exactly • Month-to-date progress toward your payout threshold, with a projection ON YOUR HOME SCREEN A widget in three sizes, including the lock screen, that refreshes on its own. If the app is doing its job you will rarely open it. BUILT SMALL AND PRIVATE There is no server. Your figures go from Google to your phone and nowhere else. Access is read-only — the app cannot change anything in your AdMob or AdSense account, only read it. Nothing is uploaded, shared or sold. Not sure?
