Race your friends. MULTIPLAYER is here: host a game and up to three friends on the same Wi-Fi join from their own phones, iPhone and Android together. Pick a track, choose your bike in the lobby, and race a single race or a 3-race cup that ends on the podium. Computer riders fill the rest of the grid, and every race pays coins by finishing place. Party contests: long jump, high jump and hill climb, live against your friends. Invite a friend. Waiting in the lobby, or looking for a game and finding none? INVITE A FRIEND sends them the game with one tap. Beat the pro. Every race now has a pro's run to chase: see the PRO time on the race card, ride against the pro, and earn the P badge on the map when you beat it. Beat 5, 20, 50 and all 85 pros for PRO HUNTER, PRO RIVAL, PRO BEATER and FACTORY LEGEND: each a badge on your TROPHIES shelf and a coin bonus, up to 30,000. Heat runs live up to their name: on the five heat races the engine sheds boost heat more slowly, so ease off before the gauge tops out.

Straight to the action. New riders now start their first race the moment the game opens. The riding lesson is still there whenever you want it, on the ? button in the menu. One tap to your next race. A new NEXT RACE button on the World Tour map opens the race waiting for you, and after a Quick Race, WORLD TOUR takes you straight back to the map. Free coins first. The store now opens with the ways to earn coins without paying: watch an ad, or ride the day's missions and challenge. Rewarded ads are more reliable: an ad still loading when you tap is waited for instead of failing. Fixed: hill climb results show each rider's exact climb, and the map buttons fit on smaller iPhones.

Upgrades you can see. Every part level now changes your machine, in the garage and on the track: billet covers, a titanium silencer, big-bore forks, a gold chain, Factory wheels. Tap a part to see your bike before and after, then decide. Every day has something to ride for. Three missions a day, each telling you where it counts, with a GO button that takes you straight to the right race. Master a region, every star of it, for coins along the way and a finish for your machine that no money can buy. Unlock 21 trophies, in Game Center too, and climb the weekly leaderboards for the daily challenge, where everyone rides the same stock machine. All-new sound. Each machine has its own engine voice, from the vintage single to the superbike, and the note settles once you hold top speed. The gate slams, landings thump, crashes and overheats sound the part, and every button clicks. Sound is now on by default. A simpler home screen: World Tour first, then Today, with the daily challenge and your missions in one place. Fixed: riders still racing when you cross the line now get their own time in the results.

Conquer a region and the island answers. Beat a region's boss for the first time and the map stamps your trophy, carries you to the next region and shows you what it asks for: the machine or the part that gets you there, and every honest way to close the gap. The Starter Pack now goes on sale at that moment, when you can see what a bike is worth. Now on iPad. The race runs in a wide frame with the controls inside the picture, and the menus fit the screen instead of floating in it. Game controllers. Pair a controller and ride it: the right trigger rides, the left one brakes, the bumpers change lanes and throw tricks in the air, and every screen answers the d-pad. The pause menu names the buttons in your pad's own words.
