In Motive, you place suspects instead of numbers. Read their statements, rule out impossible squares and work out where everyone stood. When the whole scene fits, the one suspect left alone in the victim's room is the culprit.
HOW A CASE WORKS
• Place each suspect on one square of the floor plan.
• No two people share a row or a column, and that includes the victim.
• Some furniture blocks squares. The furniture guide shows which pieces you can stand on.
• Every statement is true. The challenge is working out what the statements mean together.
• Each case has exactly one solution, and you can reach it with logic alone. No guessing needed.

If you enjoy sudoku, logic grid puzzles or a classic whodunit, Motive gives you a crime to crack one deduction at a time. One statement narrows a suspect down to a room. Another pins down the exact square. Combine the clues until only one arrangement is possible.
YOUR INVESTIGATION TOOLS
• Mark the squares you have ruled out on the board.
• Review statements in your evidence notebook and mark the ones you have checked.
• Undo your last move if a deduction doesn't hold up.
• Open the room and furniture guides for a clearer view of the scene.
• Use a hint when you are stuck.
CASES THAT GROW WITH YOU
Start with small grids and learn the rules as you play. Later cases bring larger scenes and harder combinations of clues. Keep solving generated cases, earn achievements and climb the online leaderboards.
PLAY OFFLINE
Cases work without an internet connection, so you can solve them on the train or during a break. Online leaderboards and ads need a connection. Contains ads.
