Necrophon is a spirit box for EVP and ITC sessions: eight sound banks built from real phonetic material, live echo and reverb, a working EMF meter, and full session recording.
WHY IT SOUNDS DIFFERENT
Most ghost box apps loop the same short clips until you start recognising them. Necrophon doesn't play scripted responses — it builds a continuously shifting audio field from randomized fragments, so no two sessions are alike and nothing ever repeats on a loop.
The banks contain phonemes, partial words, reversed audio, foreign-language fragments, whispers, granular textures and drones. The app layers and processes them live, so words surface out of the noise on their own. What you hear in them is yours to interpret.

A REAL EMF METER
Necrophon reads your device's magnetometer for live magnetic-field readings, plus motion and rotation, and combines them into a single Energy Activity meter. If your phone has no magnetometer the app tells you so honestly instead of showing a dead zero — and the meter still works from the sensors you do have.
RECORD EVERYTHING
Start recording at any point in a session. Necrophon captures its own audio output, so it never needs microphone access — and nothing you record leaves your device. Replay sessions from the built-in archive, check their length, and share the ones worth keeping.
LIVE CONTROLS
Echo and reverb shape the character of the voices as you listen. A pitch control shifts them deeper or higher. Vibration can be turned off entirely.

Smoother session startup.
Sound banks now load one at a time instead of all at once, and a session opens with a lighter mix and builds from there. On slower devices this removes a stutter in the first second; everywhere else the app sounds exactly as it did.
