Changed the shaft length on your irons? CALCULIER gives you the static lie angle to bend each head to, so the club plays exactly as it did before.
You lengthened or shortened your irons — and now the lie angle is wrong.
The head still reads the same on the gauge, but the club plays differently. Half an inch of added length makes it play roughly 0.5° to 1° more upright, even though nobody touched the hosel. The toe sits higher and the face points further left.
CALCULIER works out the static lie angle each head has to be bent to so it plays exactly as it did before.
HOW IT WORKS
Enter your clubs: standard lie, standard length, new length. For every club you immediately see:
• Plays Like — how the club feels after the length change
• Adjust To — the static lie angle that cancels it out
• Final Lie — the rounded target for the bench, including your own fitting adjustment
AN EFFECT MODEL YOU TRUST
Conservative 0.5°, middle 0.75°, strong 1.0° per half inch — or a value of your own. Because the real effect is a range rather than one number, the 0.5°–1.0° span sits beside every result.
