CardSnap MTG turns your iPhone or iPad into a Magic: The Gathering card scanner, collection tracker, and wish list — point your camera at a card and know exactly which printing you're holding in seconds.
PRECISION MATCHING, NOT GUESSWORK
Most scanners photograph the whole card and guess from the art, which falls apart when printings share identical artwork. CardSnap's Close-Up Scan reads just the collector number and set code — the two things that identify a printing — so you get the right card across reprints, promos, and masterpiece editions. For older cards without a set code, Full Card Scan shows a ranked list of visual matches to pick from. Promo and serialized versions are detected too, so you can choose exactly the one you're holding.
BUILD A REAL COLLECTION
Every card is saved with its set, finish, and current market price, with badges for foil, etched, promo, serialized, and proxy cards. Double-faced cards scan and flip correctly. Add several copies at once, split finishes per copy, and fix anything later — finish, quantity, printing, or proxy status.
BROWSE AND SEARCH YOUR WAY
Switch between list, condensed, and grid views. Filter with the same syntax as Scryfall (t:creature, cmc>=4, c:ur), or build a search with pickers and swatches — including leaving things out, like proxies or foils.
