A new welcome A new welcome screen shows what the app does before you sign in. You can also explore a demo from there without an account. Signing up asks one question at a time: your business name, what you do, then Apple or Google sign in. Your drafts Every create form saves a draft as you type. Start a new quote, job or record and your unfinished drafts are listed at the top, so you can carry on where you left off. Drafts are kept for 30 days and only you can see them. iPad Every tab on iPad now has two columns. Your list is on the left and the item you opened is on the right. You can fold the list away to give the item the full screen. Mail Reply all and Forward are on every message in a conversation, not just the newest one. "Reply with attachments" starts a reply that includes the original email's files. The composer has font and size menus, nested numbered lists, and indent and outdent. You can choose how long Undo shows after you press Send: 5, 10, 20 or 30 seconds. Outlook accounts now have an All mail view, the same as Gmail. An open email shows the matter it's filed to. When you type a frequent contact's name in To, they now come up as a suggestion. Law firms A matter can have more than one client. Every client is named and billed. Staff-only fields, such as practising certificate number and hourly rate, only appear on staff contacts. Supplier invoices You can link a supplier invoice, or any line on it, to a job, matter or project. Fixes and improvements Fixed emails filed to a matter not all showing once a matter had more than a thousand. Smaller fixes and polish throughout.

Email • Every message in a conversation now has Reply, Reply all and Forward, so you can answer an earlier one. • Reply with attachments starts a reply that carries the email's own files. • The compose screen has fonts, sizes, bold, italic, underline, bullet points and numbered lists. Indent puts a point under the one above it, numbered 1, then a, then i. • An email filed to a matter shows that matter once, as Filed to. • Filed emails show up on a matter however many it holds. Matters • A matter can name several clients. Each one is named on the matter, its invoices and its trust reports. iPad • Every tab now shows its list and the open item side by side, the way Mail does. Supplier invoices • Link a supplier invoice, or any line on it, to a job, matter or project. Contacts • Staff details such as a practising certificate number, hourly rate and timekeeper level now appear on staff contacts only.

Calls and messages • You can call a colleague by voice or video from Messaging. • Messages carry files and photos, show a card for each link, and keep a thread under any message. • You can forward a message, mark it as unread, and book a meeting from a chat. • An urgent message reminds people every two minutes until they read it. Your assistant • You can attach a PDF, a Word file, a spreadsheet or a photo, and the assistant reads it. • The assistant can make you a Word, Excel or PDF file, and draft an email for you to check and send. Documents • You can edit a PDF on your phone and save it back to the record. • A matter's OneDrive files open on your phone, with Word and Excel in Office. Leave and notifications • Team leaders approve their own team's leave, and you can filter leave by its dates. • Each notification shows a heading and a line of detail. • You can review an archive request straight from its notification. Personal • Switch company has a new Personal section. Add your Home to run your Apple Home scenes, switch your lights and plugs, and run a scene when you check in or out. • If you run Homebridge, you can install, update and remove its plugins from your phone. Also • A date or time opens straight away and waits for you to press Confirm. • We now support about forty trades, with eleven added in this version.

Supplier invoices • You can photograph or email a supplier invoice, and the app reads it in. It flags duplicates and lets you re-read one it got wrong. • Each supplier has its own page for their details, and you can merge two suppliers into one. • You can pay a week of supplier invoices with one bank file. • Each invoice belongs to a store, and a group admin sees every store's weekly spend. Leave • Leave waiting for you shows on Quick Glance, and a new Leave requests screen lists the rest. • Every approver now gets the notification, and you can approve from your phone. Jobs, quotes and invoices • An existing job saves each field as you finish it, so you no longer need Save or Cancel. • A matter invoice on your phone now has every option the web has. • The app asks for your tax rate on a quote or invoice until you set one. • Finish setting up now covers card payments and notifications. Getting around • The menu is now a single list, and a swipe from the left edge opens it. • The top bar and the tabs move out of the way while you read. • On iPad, the app uses the standard iOS sidebar. • Tapping a matter opens its dashboard. Also • Your emails can carry formatting, and the Send button shows clearly in dark mode. • Photos zoom and rotate wherever they open. • You can create a new company from Switch company. • A manager who opens a shift sees each check in, break and check out.

A new look. Also in this version: • Check in to today's jobs from Quick Glance with one tap. • Read and reply to Gmail and Outlook email in the app, with formatting, and see a matter's emails in the same view. • Cafes can photograph or email in supplier invoices, catch duplicates, and see their spend by week and by year. • Create a matter invoice with every option the web app has, and record trust entries with their PDFs. • The calendar has a Leave view, and your own leave sits at the foot of Quick Glance. • A manager who opens a shift sees the check in time, each break and the check out time. • Signing in with an unverified account can send the verification link again.

What's new in 1.0.2 Check in to site A new card on Quick Glance lists today's jobs with the time and site for each one. Tap the job you are at to check in. It is geo locked to that job's own site, and it only appears for businesses that check in at sites. Your work Your own day now sits at the top of Quick Glance. Signing in The invite code fields are behind "Have an invite code or link?" instead of sitting on the form for everybody. "Forgot password?" and that link now read in sentence case, and the demo link is simply "Explore a demo". iPad The sign in card no longer stretches across the window. The More tab's rows were redrawn, with no colour between them and no empty space beneath. Routes The chips show their names again. Our suggestions A setup plan now shows the words explaining what it proposes, above the parts it will build. Deleting Deleting a record is one action, and anything deleted is swept after 30 days. Website A page's address is its own website's, and a page that is live can be taken back down. Demos The cafe demo opens with a finished week behind it, so a Monday has hours to confirm.

JOBS AND YOUR DAY • Book a job from the calendar, with its customer, site, who is doing it, the work, the price lines and an arrival window. • Jobs now draw on the day, week and month views. • You are warned as soon as you pick a time somebody is already booked for. • Routes heads each stop with when the work starts and shows the drive between them. Add, change or archive a job on the day itself. • Text the customer when a job is booked or moved. The text names the site's suburb and says the window is an arrival, not an hour of work. • Check in when you reach the job, from the job or from Quick Glance. • Job numbers are issued for you. QUOTES AND INVOICES • Raise a quote from a job and text it. When the customer accepts, the job books itself. • A job's page shows its lines, its quote and its invoices, and a job can carry more than one invoice. • Offer optional extras, each saying what it does. • New quote and New invoice open a form and save when you are ready, so a blank record is never left behind. • A finalised quote can no longer be edited by accident. PHOTOS AND CHECKLISTS • Take photos on site, tick a job's checklist, and see before and after on the board. EQUIPMENT • Every item in one list, with filters, groups and what falls due next. • Mark a service done and keep its history. Hand all of one person's equipment to somebody else in one go. QUICK GLANCE • Rebuilt: one card per widget, each at its own height and in its own colour, grouped into sections. • It opens on the view you chose, and you can add a record or change what it shows without leaving it. • Count this week, this month or all time on any widget that counts records. • Filter any View all list by date, by kind, or by anything the record holds. DO IT WHERE YOU SEE IT • Add, change and remove records, jobs, shifts, tasks and list rows on the screen you are already on. • Create a customer or a site from inside any form, with an address lookup and the suburb shown in the picker. • Add a team member from any Assigned to picker, and give them work before they have joined. • Every form that creates a record now asks for its name. VENUES AND ASSOCIATED COMPANIES • Pick a venue or another of your companies on Routes, Timesheets and Equipment, and the screen follows it. Staff pickers do the same. ROSTERS, TIMESHEETS AND PAY • Review a pay period's confirmed hours before anybody is paid. • The kiosk says when it has been signed out instead of refusing every PIN. YOUR WEBSITE • Edit your website from the phone, block by block, including layout and colour. Take a photo on site and put it straight on a page. FOR LAW FIRMS • A matter opens on its own dashboard, and your trust account is on the phone. SETTING UP • Sign up and create a company from the phone, in the steps the website uses. • The app calls your tables what you call them. • Trying it without an account? The demo now answers quotes, invoices, equipment, routes and the trust account. FIXES AND POLISH • Fixed a crash on every screen that showed a negative amount. • Fixed sign-ins that could be lost when the phone stored the session. • Pop-ups are full screen, one at a time, with a back arrow between them. • A form no longer jumps as its fields arrive, and the keyboard stays clear of the field you are typing in. • Tab names fit on a small phone. • Today comes from your company's timezone, and a date saves as the one you picked. • Sign out ends this device only.
