A candle called Wick wakes up when you do, then stays with you through the first ten minutes of your morning. No streaks. No guilt. Just a cozy start. Mornings can be hard. Wick makes them warmer. Dawnling is a cozy alarm clock with a small pixel candle living inside it. When your alarm goes off, Wick wakes up too, flame catching, eyes opening, and then walks you into whatever you wanted your morning to be. THE ALARM THAT ACTUALLY GETS YOU UP Set a wake mission and the alarm won't quietly disappear at a tap. Type a line, solve some easy maths, or light five candles in order. Enough friction to beat your half-asleep self, never so much that it feels like a punishment. Prefer gentle? Turn missions off entirely. It's a setting, not a judgement. THEN THE PART THAT MATTERS Getting up is only half of it. Pick what comes next, yoga, reading, meditation, a workout, journaling, or a routine you name yourself, and Dawnling runs a calm timer while Wick does it alongside you. Ambient sound optional. Pause any time. Quit whenever you like; you keep what you earned for getting up. A ROOM THAT GROWS WITH YOU Waking up and finishing routines earns dewdrops. Spend them on windows, doors, lamps, sofas, paintings, and wall and floor colours to build a small cozy room for Wick. As your bond grows, new flame colours unlock, deep coral, ghost blue, and they follow Wick everywhere, including your widgets. NO GUILT, EVER No streaks to break. No red numbers. No "you've let Wick down." Miss a morning and Wick simply slept in too. Dawnling rewards showing up and stays quiet the rest of the time, the only notifications are your alarm, an optional bedtime nudge, and the occasional "you unlocked something." ALSO • Multiple alarms, each with their own days, routine, sound and mission • Snooze that's honest about it, you pick the cap, it counts down, it doesn't lie to you • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets with Wick and your next alarm • Bedtime reminder when you want one • Cozy alarm sounds and ambient tracks, all bundled, no streaming, no account • Works completely offline. No sign-up, no ads, no analytics, nothing collected. Dawnling is made by one person. If something's broken or missing, write in, it genuinely shapes what happens next.
