It remembers every bottle you own, watches when each one is at its best, and tells you what to open tonight — before the moment passes.
ASK FOR A MOOD, NOT JUST A DISH
Tell Elio what's for dinner — "roast chicken," "takeaway curry" — or skip the dish and describe the mood instead: "something crisp for the sofa," "a medium-bodied red, not too fruity." Elio checks it against what's actually in your cellar and picks the bottle. Nothing fits? It tells you exactly what style to buy next and drops it on your buy list in one tap.
KNOW WHEN EACH BOTTLE IS READY
Every bottle gets its own drinking window — an estimate of when it's at its best, built from its grape, region and vintage. Elio's own vintage assessment (our editorial read of the year, never a critic's score) fine-tunes the window, so a strong vintage earns more patience and a lighter one gets opened sooner. Turn on peak alerts and Elio will nudge you the moment a bottle enters its window. It's guidance, not a guarantee — storage and your own taste always matter more than any chart — but nothing in your cellar quietly slips past its best without you knowing.
ADD A BOTTLE IN SECONDS
Photograph the label and Elio reads the producer, wine, vintage and region straight off it — no typing required. Bringing a cellar over from a spreadsheet or another app's export? Paste it in and Elio sorts out the columns for you.
