Freeboard Personal Finance (the original) shows you how much money you’ll really have left by month’s end. Free, no ads, no in-app purchases.
Your account balance only shows what is in your account right now. Freeboard looks ahead and shows how much will actually remain available after all known commitments. Freeboard also provides a day-by-day forecast of your account balance. An attractive chart immediately shows whether you might overdraw your account this month. Freeboard helps you avoid overdraft interest.
You do not need to record every individual expense or keep a detailed expense log. Set up recurring income and expenses once, along with any prepayments you want to spread over a longer period. Update them only when something changes. Day to day, simply enter your current account balance and check off completed transactions.
After every update, you can immediately see whether you still have money available to spend.

ON YOUR APPLE DEVICES
Freeboard runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. On iPhone, iPad, and Mac, you can use the app entirely locally without iCloud. You only need iCloud to synchronize between your devices and to use Freeboard on Apple Watch. Your devices must be signed in to the same Apple Account.
On Apple Watch, you can see the amount currently available and record one-time income or expenses in just a few steps—for example, a card payment right at the register.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Freeboard requires no user account and never connects to your bank. The app does not operate its own application server, includes no tracking, and collects no personal data. When synchronization is enabled, your financial data is synchronized in iCloud through your personal Apple Account. If Advanced Data Protection for iCloud is enabled, iCloud protects the synchronized data with end-to-end encryption.
Freeboard is for personal financial planning and deliberately creates no financial history. Instead of analyzing past spending, it shows what is available today and how known future income and expenses affect it. The app does not initiate payments, import bank transactions, or provide financial or tax advice.
Free to use, with no in-app purchases or advertising.
