If someone sends you a video, it plays just like normal. There's just no next one waiting behind it. That's exactly the difference between a quick look and half an hour that's gone.
IF THAT'S NOT ENOUGH
Other apps of this kind stop working the moment you close them and open the real app. NoReels doesn't.
Using Apple's Screen Time, you lock the real apps across your entire device:
- Daily limits: Give an app a time budget. Once it's used up, the app closes.
- Focus schedules: Lock on a schedule, like 9 to 5 on weekdays.
- Per weekday: Saturday can have a different limit than Tuesday.

PRIVACY, HONESTLY
The part that reveals the most about you never leaves your iPhone. What you view in your feed, what's on the pages, which apps you lock and how long you use them: all of it stays local. Filtering happens on the device. Your login credentials go directly to Instagram or YouTube and never pass through us.
An account is optional and only exists for two things: so support can reply to you, and so your votes on the roadmap belong to you. It stores your name, your email address, and your profile picture. Without signing in, everything else works exactly the same.
No analytics, no ad tracking, no data brokers.
NoReels is free and contains no in-app purchases.
