Colourway turns a photograph of a receipt into a per-item cost basis — what you paid, what it cost to land, what it sold for, and what was actually left. Built for people who buy and resell sneakers and streetwear, and who are tired of a spreadsheet that never quite balances. SCAN, DON'T TYPE Photograph a receipt and Colourway reads the merchant, date, order number, currency, subtotal, tax, shipping, duties and every line item — brand, model, size, colourway, style code. Each number shows the snippet of receipt text it came from, so you can see why it was read that way instead of guessing. Anything uncertain lands in Needs Review rather than quietly entering your books. COST BASIS THAT SURVIVES A TAX RETURN Shipping, duties, brokerage and authentication are spread across the pairs they belong to, so each item carries its true landed cost. Buy in USD and the exchange rate on the purchase date is applied and recorded, along with where it came from. KNOW WHAT ACTUALLY SOLD Record a sale with its marketplace, payment and shipping fees, and see realized profit per pair and per month. Track holding periods, aging inventory, and what your unsold stock is worth against current comps. BOOKS THAT MATCH Connect QuickBooks Online and post purchases and sales to the accounts you map, with sales tax handled properly and no duplicate entries. Or export the whole ledger to CSV whenever you like — with the receipt images if you want them. BUILT FOR A REAL TAX RETURN The tax pack groups a year into the lines a T2125 or Schedule C actually asks for, with the receipts behind them. YOUR DATA Everything is stored in Canada. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no tracking. Your ledger is exportable at any time, and deleting your account deletes it — immediately, from inside the app. A NOTE ON ACCURACY Colourway reads receipts automatically, and automatic reading is sometimes wrong. Every figure is editable, and the app shows its work so you can check it. Colourway is a bookkeeping tool, not tax or accounting advice. PLANS Free — up to 15 receipts a month, and export everything, always. Pro — unlimited receipts, inventory and landed cost, category rules, spend reports, lookbook. Business — everything in Pro, plus QuickBooks sync, realized profit and loss, inventory valuation and aging, and the tax pack. Pro and Business are available monthly or yearly.
