If your free week runs out, the app now tells you that directly instead of showing the same first-time screen you already saw — and nothing you logged during the week is ever affected.

Fixed: the handheld first-run tour used to stop after the first tap, so most people never saw the walk-through past step one. It now runs all the way to your first expense.

The first-run walkthrough now points at the right control, buttons sit above the navigation bar on Android instead of under it, and signing out leaves properly: no half-empty month waiting for you the next time you open the app.

A guided first run: the app shows you where to tap, walks you through your first expense, and celebrates when it lands. Reminders and inviting your partner are pointed out too, once — and only if you have not done them.

Reminders now work even if you turned notifications on later, and the app asks for them properly — it only ever sends what your partner added and the reminder you chose.

Notifications now arrive when your partner adds an expense. A token that changed whenever the app was reinstalled was being written over on every launch, so the other phone was sending to an address that no longer existed. And if the app never got to ask for permission to send them — joining with a code skipped that step — it asks now.
