The simulator mirror goes full screen: hide the bars and tabs and give the whole screen to the device. The controls stay within reach in a menu. If your Wi-Fi drops, the mirror tells you it’s reconnecting and comes back on its own, without opening it again. Fixes: dragging a finger scrolls an agent session running inside tmux again, also when you return to a long session (requires Companion 3.6.1); and the plans screen opens without flickering.

More accurate two-finger gestures in the mirror, and Home, Lock, Siri, and the keyboard work again with recent versions of Xcode. In Agents, each session shows its conversation title. Plus search in the previews list and several mirror fixes. The mirror and Agents improvements require Companion 3.6.

Make more room on iPad: open agent sessions and simulators in their own windows, and follow several tasks at once. Follow supported sessions from the Lock Screen with Live Activities. See their state and confirmed steps when the agent provides them. Requires Companion 3.4 and a supported version of Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode. Take simulator screenshots and record video from the mirror. Originals stay on your Mac’s Desktop; download a copy, save it to Photos, or share it from iPhone or iPad. Approve each download over cellular, or let it wait for Wi-Fi. Requires Companion 3.4. The mirror adapts quality to your connection and adds sharpness and fluidity profiles, plus controls for resolution, frame rate, and power saving. Automatic quality requires Companion 3.4. A refreshed welcome and demo help you discover projects, agents, and simulators. We also improved empty states, access to sessions, the data-use notice, and project workbench navigation. Attach images from Photos or the clipboard—including with ⌘V—to Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode sessions. Update the current Git branch with a pull that preserves your local changes. Companion features require Companion 3.5; Git pull is also available over SSH. Rotate simulators from the mirror, and fold or unfold supported models. The mirror follows the active screen. Requires Companion 3.5 and a supported simulator.

Your project, ready to build: tap it and it opens in Run, with scheme and simulator already picked. Archive, Previews and Info are one tap away. New: • Simulators on each Mac, and the running ones on Home. • Hand work over to another agent (Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode) to continue or review. Requires Companion 3.3. • Technical dictation in agent sessions, processed on your device. • Install or update agents and tmux on your Mac from the app. • Over SSH, leaving a running build asks whether to keep it going. • With Companion 3.3, projects with many Swift packages open right away.

Your agent, in any repo. Until now, a coding agent opened on an Xcode project. With Companion 3.2, it also opens in any Git repository on your Mac: a website, a backend, a script. In Agents, tap "+": below your projects you'll find your folders, the ones you added to the Companion and the Git repositories inside them. Pick one, check its branch and history, and open Claude Code, Codex, or opencode there, just like in a project. Your Mac builds the list: your phone picks from it and never types a path. To offer another folder, add it in the Companion. And every session is easy to tell apart: in Agents, on Home and when you switch sessions, it shows where it runs, whether it's new or continued, and when it started.

All your Macs, in one place. CompilePilot is now organized in four tabs: Home, Projects, Agents, and Macs. Home shows what matters right now: agents waiting for you, builds in progress, your favorites, and your latest runs, across all your Macs. Projects brings the projects on all your Macs together in one list, with favorites, recents, and search. If the same repo is on two Macs, it's one row, and you choose which Mac to open it on. Agents lists the sessions open on all your Macs, with a badge on the tab when one is waiting for you. Start a new one with "+". On iPad, the list and the details sit side by side: an agent session stays open next to the list, and goes full screen with one tap. With a keyboard, ⌘[ and ⌘] switch sessions. It works full screen, in windows, and in Stage Manager. On iPhone Duo, CompilePilot fills the screen and adapts as you fold and unfold it, without losing what you had open. Also: if a pairing code has expired or is wrong, the app tells you, and an agent session reconnects on its own when you come back to the app. Works with Companion 3.0. With Companion 3.1, the same repo in different folders on two Macs also shows up just once.

Your build, without opening the app. Ask Siri "How's my build in CompilePilot?" and it tells you what your Mac is building, for how long, and about how much is left. Ask it to run a recent build again, or to cancel the one that's running, from Siri or the Shortcuts app. Add the widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen: the last build, what's building now, and whether a coding agent is waiting for you. Everything shows how long ago it was checked, so old news never looks like news. The medium widget and a Control Center control run your last build again in one tap. And on Apple Watch: the CompilePilot app shows your Macs and the build in progress with its time, runs a recent build again, and shows when an agent is waiting for you so you can continue on your iPhone. Complications put the status on your watch face. And when the agent has finished its turn, tell it what's next without taking out your phone: say "Tell Claude in CompilePilot" to Siri, or tap "Tell it something" on your watch. Dictate, confirm the text, and the agent starts. If it's waiting for a permission, you still answer that on your iPhone, where you can read it. Claude Code only, for now. Follow the build on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island with a Live Activity: phase, progress, and how much is left. And if you want, notifications even when you're away from home: when a build finishes or your agent is waiting, your Mac tells your iPhone and your watch. It's optional and off by default. Each notification leaves your Mac encrypted and only your iPhone can read it: our server hands it to Apple without being able to open it. Without it, build notifications still arrive with the app closed, whenever iOS gives it a moment to check, and they come with "Run Again", which works from your watch too. Everything you send to your Mac goes over your local network, through your iPhone. Requires Companion 3.0 on your Mac.

Open a coding agent on your Mac, from your phone. If you have Claude Code, Codex or opencode installed on your Mac, you can now open one on the project you already had selected, with a tap. The session runs on your Mac in a real terminal, and you read and type it from your iPhone or iPad. Leave the screen and the agent keeps working; come back whenever you want. Run more than one session on the same Mac and switch between them. Start a new conversation, continue the last one, or pick one from the agent's own list. The agent's permission prompts show up exactly as they do on your Mac, and you answer them. The app never picks the agent's mode: to change it, the "Mode" key sends the same keystroke you would press on the Mac. Also new: • Build, run and test with Xcode from the Run screen with the "Build with Xcode" switch. Xcode's tools can be set up for the whole Mac from the app. • SwiftUI previews rendered on your Mac. • The project list groups projects by folder, great for monorepos. • Project details for projects with packages open much faster. • Branches show when they are ahead of or behind their upstream. • The home screen shows what is running and your recent projects. • Xcode 27 support, and Xcode 26 stays supported. Requires Companion 2.0 on your Mac.

• One Mac, several addresses: CompilePilot remembers how to reach each Mac over your local network, Tailscale, or an IP, and tries the one that worked last. Adding another address to a paired Mac doesn't ask for a code. • A paired Mac is no longer stuck on "Out of range". If it stops accepting this device, it says "Pair again" and you can pair it right there without removing it, keeping its history. • Your saved Mac is recognized on the network even if its name or address changes. • When a Mac can't be reached, its details now show why for each address.

Git from your phone: see your project's branch, uncommitted changes and recent commits, and switch branches when the working tree is clean. The Run screen tells you about uncommitted changes before you build. Fixes: • Running a project again, or retrying, no longer closes the app. • Very long build logs no longer exhaust your iPhone or iPad's memory. • Cancelling an Archive now shows it as cancelled, not as a lost network connection. • Sharing a build or Archive log always shares that run's log.

CompilePilot now works with the Companion, a free app for your Mac: it finds your Mac for you, keeps builds running when you leave the screen, and lets you watch and touch the Simulator from your phone. SSH connections work exactly as before.
