Wind's Passage is a pixel-art sailing simulation set on the oceans of the 16th century.
It starts with one rule — buy low, sell high — and grows into a fleet, a war with
pirates, and a map of waters nobody has charted yet.
■ Ninety ports, one continuous sea
From Lisbon to Nagasaki, ninety ports sit on a single world map. Sail up the Nile,
the Tigris, the Indus, the Yellow River or the Amazon to reach inland cities; slip
through a narrow strait to enter the Black Sea. The shortcuts are not marked.
■ Prices move with the world
36 trade goods plus 32 port specialities. Ports in the same region drift together,
so reading one market tells you something about its neighbours. Buy in bulk and you
will move the price yourself.
■ Six captains, six routes
Merchant, adventurer, soldier, privateer, surveyor, treasure hunter. Different home
port, different strengths, different ending.
■ Hex tactical combat
With the wind behind you, you move further. Point your bow at the enemy and your
guns will not bear. Choose whether to hole the hull, shred the sails, or rake the
deck; close the distance for boarding or a one-on-one duel. Get lucky and you take
the ship instead of sinking it.
