MIXED MODE: English and Turkish words on one board. Four tiers, three sizes, 144 new puzzles; the keyboard follows the language of the selected word. Three direction cards on the home screen, each with your progress. Puzzles now open in order: finish one and the next unlocks. Everything you finished or started stays where it was. With Premium you open any puzzle without waiting and get the whole mixed mode.

Expert tier A fourth tier under Play: rare, demanding words, three grid sizes, both directions. Twice the puzzles Beginner and Intermediate packs have doubled. Your finished boards and streak stay exactly where they are; the new puzzles follow the existing ones. Turkish definitions In the English clue → Turkish answer direction, the "?" button now opens a Turkish definition of the word. When you're stuck The ∞ button next to the hint buttons takes you to Premium in one tap: unlimited hints and reveals, no ads. Clues The whole English dictionary was reviewed; over 1,800 clues corrected.

Streak card Your daily streak now sits on the home screen right above the Daily Mini: it nudges you while today is unsolved and turns green once it's done. Rating We no longer ask on your first puzzle: from the third finished puzzle on, and with a short question of our own first. Notifications Reminders are more varied, and when a streak is running they speak to it: "Protect your 10-day streak". Roman numeral clues now read "8 (Roman numeral)". Your puzzles and completed boards are untouched.

Clues reviewed from scratch We read through the clues for the most common words one by one and corrected around 900 of them. BETTER is no longer glossed as an archaic word, WELL is no longer "a water well", DOWN is no longer "feather". Dictionary leftovers cleaned up Senses nobody uses in everyday speech are gone, along with verb inflections, plurals and proper nouns. Fresh puzzles Every puzzle was regenerated from the corrected word pool. Your completion marks stay where they are — the puzzles beneath them are new.

A new board size: 13 × 11 A third option joins the size picker. Twelve new puzzles at each level — Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced — with around 47 words on a board. A bigger keyboard Keys are wider and taller. The Turkish letters Ş, İ, Ğ, Ü, Ö and Ç are noticeably easier to hit. The board is now laid out from the keyboard's real height.

çengel 2.4 • Every puzzle has been rebuilt. The same words no longer keep coming back, near-identical boards are gone, and there are no idle clue boxes. Translations were read one by one and wrong clues fixed. • The bar above the keyboard now shows the word's squares: how many letters it has and the ones you have already uncovered from crossing words. Filled squares are skipped as you type. • Optional reminders: the daily puzzle and small word questions (“anahtar — ___ ?”). Two notifications a day at most; switch them on or off in Settings. • Your progress now survives content updates: the tiles you finished stay ticked. • Short words and classic crossword entries added: cities and countries, element symbols.

çengel 2.3 • Every puzzle reprinted: more accurate clues from a corrected dictionary, no B2/C1 words in beginner packs, no empty clue boxes. Progress in classic packs is reset; streak and daily completions are kept. • New app icon. • A rewarded ad must play to the end before a word is revealed; if the ad cannot load, the word is still given. • Long hyphenated clues no longer lose their last line. • A resume card on the home screen for the puzzle in progress.

çengel 2.0 • A new icon. • The game's direction now lives on the home screen: Turkish → English or English → Turkish, in one tap. • The daily puzzle comes both ways round — pick a direction when you open it. • Finishing a puzzle brings up a short prompt to rate the app on the App Store.

This release is all repairs. • Zooming stays put. Enlarging the board, or pinching into it, no longer throws the screen to the top-left corner — whatever you were looking at stays where it was. Tapping a square doesn't move the board either. • Words that are full but wrong now show in faded grey, so they read apart at a glance from the correct ones, which stay orange. • Puzzles you left half-finished carry a half-circle in the corner, next to the check mark the finished ones already had. • Finishing a puzzle brings up a short prompt to rate the app on the App Store.

A brand-new look. • Light and dark themes. Pick one from the cards at the bottom of the home screen or in Settings, or let the app follow your phone. • New colours and typography: warm paper tones and clearer letters on the board. • Finished puzzles now carry a check mark. Tap it to start that puzzle over. • Much better contrast for text on orange surfaces in dark mode. • Refreshed ad-free upgrade screen.
