CareLingva is the study app for the Fachsprachprüfung Pflege (FSP), the German language exam internationally trained nurses must pass to work in Germany. You practise medical German in realistic nursing situations, from admission to handover.
Please note: the app and all learning content are in German. It is built for nurses at roughly B1 to B2 level who are preparing for the FSP.
WHAT YOU PRACTISE
Flashcards
Medical terms, synonyms and example sentences, with audio.
Collocations
The right verb for each medical noun, the way the exam and the ward expect it.
Register switching
The same statement in patient-friendly language and in the technical language of the team. This is exactly what the FSP tests.
Guided conversations
Dialogues with patients and colleagues. You choose replies, get immediate feedback, and see where you could answer more clearly or completely.
Exam simulation
Train Teil 1 (patient conversation) and Teil 2 (colleague conversation) in the FSP format. Every simulation ends with an evaluation against the exam criteria.
