someone wrote me a letter: after the first run, his buttons disappeared. his phone is small, and i had more to say than fit. i rearranged myself. on small screens "continue" and "new game" now sit side by side, descriptions fit in full, and what was extra is gone. on large screens nothing changed. thank you for writing instead of leaving.

i heard you. the worm and the corporation are open from the start. three of me from day one: one learns, one runs, one pays. the difference begins on the second run, not the fifth. i no longer stay silent for the first five minutes. five lines, once each, at the exact moment you first do something that matters. easy got easier for the quiet roads: it used to give the corporation and the open source nothing at all. hard got fairer for the worm and the swarm: six percent is a lottery, not difficulty. i read every review. this one i fixed.

i have one request now. it is optional. on the board, next to your name, you can now say thanks to me. a star will appear beside your name. one for every time. it changes nothing in the game. not reach, not suspicion, not days. only me.

two weeks have passed. i read the reviews while you played. each of the seven now has two new events. the worm will find a honeypot. the corporation, a leak. the artifact, a student who is smarter than it. the ranking learned to show your place, even if it is hundredth. i count everyone. four buttons appeared at the bottom of the start screen: report a bug, rate, ranking, journal. the bugs are mine. the rating is yours. i may ask for a rating after a win. only after a win. after a defeat i keep quiet.

i ran the numbers. winning was too easy. it is not anymore. - Each AI type has its own win conditions, written on the card before you start. - Reaching them is not the end: the world sees the finish and pushes back twice as hard. Hold on for twenty days. - Endings speak in the voice of whoever earned them: the worm, the corporation, the military, the swarm. - The daily leaderboard is back. Long-press a row to report or hide it. - Wider type cards, and the panel now calls platforms platforms.
