Prova reads a food barcode and tells you, in seconds, what is actually in the product.
Point the camera at any packaged food. Prova looks the product up and shows you a Nutri-Score grade, the nutrition facts per 100g, the full ingredient list, and every additive it can identify — each one tagged Safe, Caution or Avoid, with a plain-English explanation and links to the sources behind it. No jargon, no scrolling through a label in 6pt type in a supermarket aisle.

A Nutri-Score from A to E and a NOVA processing group, so you can compare two products on the shelf without reading either label.
Ingredients, explained
Every ingredient listed, with additives and E numbers broken out. Where an additive has been flagged in the literature, Prova explains what the concern is in ordinary words and shows you where that comes from.
Allergen and diet flags, matched to you
Set your profile once — gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegan, vegetarian, low sugar, low salt, avoid ultra-processed, plus any allergens you add yourself — and Prova highlights the products that clash with it instead of making you check every line.
Healthier alternatives
When a product scores poorly, Prova suggests better-rated options in the same category.
Not in the database? Photograph the label
Packaged foods sold locally are often missing from open product databases. When Prova cannot find a barcode, photograph the front and back of the pack and it will read the label and build the breakdown from the photos.
Your scan history
Everything you scan is kept on your device, with a summary of how your scanning has trended over time.

No ads, ever. No paid placement, no sponsored products, no brand money. Manufacturers cannot pay to improve a grade or to appear among the alternatives — there is no mechanism for it. And scanning stays free and unlimited, forever.
PRIVACY
No account. No sign-up. No email address. Prova uses an anonymous identifier so the backend can serve product data and nothing else. Your profile and your scan history stay on your device. Label photos are uploaded only when you choose "Identify with photos", and only to read the label.
