Share a folder of saved searches. Every folder in Saved now has Export in its menu, and the Saved line has Export all. Export hands the whole folder to the share sheet as plain text, so it can go by mail, message or notes, or simply be copied. There is no file to attach and nothing to lose in transit. Import someone else's. Copy the message they sent you, then choose Import from clipboard on the Saved line. The app says how many searches are coming and which folder they will go into before anything is added, and they arrive in a folder of their own, so another person's searches never mix into yours. Text still imports after a reply has quoted it, a notes app has re-wrapped it, or a greeting and a signature have been added around it. An exported search is small. A single search is 84 characters of text. Searches that use red letter, italics, the paragraph filter or the punctuation and apostrophe settings travel complete, which the desktop .kjs format cannot carry. Fixed: deleting a folder no longer leaves the same search twice. Its searches still move to Default, but one Default already holds is dropped rather than copied there beside itself. The confirmation says exactly what will move and what is already there. Fixed: the numbers on the details sheet line up on the left, where they used to read as centered.

The *, ?, [ ] and | that searches are written in were two or three keyboard switches deep on a phone; they are one tap away now, in a row above the keyboard with Add phrase beside them. The notes at the end of fourteen books and the 116 Psalm titles are searchable text that carries no verse number, and a hit in one was being added to the verse and chapter totals. "Paul" in the colophon of 2 Timothy was making one search report 778 verses in 354 chapters where the desktop reports 777 in 353. The occurrence counts were always right; 103 of the built-in searches were reporting too many verses and now report what the desktop does. Fixed: clearing your recent searches clears them from the opening screen at once, rather than leaving them there until something else refreshed it.

The punctuation and text-type filters are no longer behind a setting. They are the two questions this app can ask that the desktop cannot, and they are now on the search screen from the start. Under each phrase, one line answers the question most often asked of it: "Jesus" occurs 973 times, 777 of them whole words with nothing after them. Tap it for the full set of marks. Text type is its own screen now, with every attribute named for what it means — red letter, words of Christ; italics, supplied words — and a running count behind it as you choose. Tap a word while reading and you can search for it: the word goes into a cleared search box, ready to narrow. That sheet also remembers which half you had open, the counts or Webster's, rather than shutting both for every word. A long result has a way back. Scroll well down and a button appears that returns you to the top in one tap. Search Within keeps your selection however you leave it, by the back button or the swipe. No Done button to remember. Where to search, how the phrases must fall together and which text counts now sit together in one panel instead of scattered across the screen. Fixes: the collapse arrow works while the keyboard is up, and scrolling the results no longer folds the search controls away mid-swipe.

Total overhaul of the main screen user interface. Much easier and less confusing to select books, italics, red letters. The option for extended searches is now built-in and works for all searches. Added to the Built-In search library, "In The Beginning Jesus" which totals 77,777 matches in the King James Bible.
