Alcove — Private Photos
Encrypted private photo backup
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Alcove is the first private photo space where even the platform can't see your content.
Photos are encrypted on your device before upload, and the keys stay in your hands — our servers store only ciphertext. No one can see your photos. Including us.
● Auto backup: full-quality photos & videos, free up phone space
● End-to-end encryption: AES-256 on-device, zero-knowledge design
● Shared groups: a private wall for family, partners and friends — no compression, no expiry
● Encrypted chat: group and 1:1 messages are E2E encrypted too
● Drop: send original files to friends, large videos included
● Video streaming: cloud videos start instantly, no waiting
● Profile wall: public and private stay strictly separate — you choose what to share

A brand-new app icon.

• Group invitations now require your confirmation; you'll never be added to a group without accepting
• Saved posts open much faster
• Fixed the share sheet not opening
• Several fixes to how group keys are delivered, so members no longer have to wait
