Blood pressure is a trend, not one number. Chart Apple Health and manual readings against your target. Pick a period for a PDF. Yours to manage, only on your iPhone.
Blood pressure is a trend, not a single number. Baromi shows you the trend.
The name comes from barometer — a gauge for the pressure inside you — combined with the Korean word 바로, meaning "rightly" and "right away."
■ EVERY READING ON ONE CHART
Baromi charts the blood pressure your monitor saved to Apple Health and the readings you enter by hand on the same graph. You can use it with manual entry alone if you have no connected monitor, and if you link Apple Health later, the earlier readings join in.
■ ONE CHART, AT A GLANCE
Tap to switch between one day, seven days, thirty days, or your whole history. A day with one reading shows as a point; a day with two or more shows as a range bar, so the swing within that day stays visible. Pick a date to open its average and every reading, or use the month calendar to spot the days that went over your target. Daily averages can be drawn as a line or as bars, whichever reads better.
Blood pressure and heart rate are the only things Baromi reads from Apple Health. It touches no other health data, and it never alters or deletes the original records.
■ A TARGET LINE, NOT A VERDICT
Baromi does not sort readings into normal and abnormal. It shows where a blood-pressure reading sits relative to your target.
· If your clinician set a target, Baromi draws that.
· For adults without one, it shows the 2025 AHA/ACC guidance for normal blood pressure — below 120 systolic and below 80 diastolic — with its source.
· During pregnancy, or under 18, Baromi computes no target of its own: the medical variation is too wide for an app to decide. Enter the target your clinician gave you.
■ RECORD A READING FROM A PHOTO
Point the camera at your monitor's display or a paper log and the systolic, diastolic, and pulse values are filled in. Recognition happens entirely on your iPhone, and the photo is neither stored nor transmitted. Check the values, correct them, then save.
■ KEEP THE CONTEXT, NOT JUST THE NUMBER
A reading of 120 in the morning is not the same as 120 after medication. Tag readings morning or evening, before or after medication, and add a memo.
■ REMINDERS
Pick the weekdays and times you want to be reminded, so a measurement doesn't slip past.
■ A REPORT FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
Choose a period and a PDF is generated: averages, minimums and maximums, a breakdown by time of day, a pulse trend, and the full list of readings.
■ YOUR BLOOD-PRESSURE RECORDS, UNDER YOUR CONTROL
· Export CSV to keep a copy elsewhere, or import it on another iPhone to carry on.
· Delete readings one at a time, or all of them at once.
· Disconnect Apple Health whenever you like; the readings it supplied are cleared with it.
· There is no Baromi server. No account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics. Your records leave the iPhone only when you tap export yourself.
■ HOME SCREEN WIDGET
Your seven-day average, how many readings it covers, how long since the last one, and the next reminder. You can hide the numbers — and on the Lock Screen they are never shown, under any setting.
■ BUILT TO BE READ
· Dynamic Type is supported; the layout holds together at large text sizes.
· A colour-vision-friendly palette swaps the systolic/diastolic and over-target colours for a blue/orange contrast that separates under red-green colour blindness.
· VoiceOver reads the values in the chart.
· Light and dark mode follow your device.
Baromi is a tool for recording and reviewing blood-pressure readings. It is not a medical device. Consult a healthcare professional for any diagnostic or treatment decision.
