Uploads that survive a bad connection — and no more waiting to rip the next disc. • Uploads run in the background. Rip finishes, the album joins the upload queue at the bottom of the window, and you can insert the next CD right away. • A dropped Wi-Fi no longer ends an upload: Lossic waits for the network to come back and carries on. Timeouts and server hiccups are retried automatically. • Nothing is uploaded twice. Tracks already on Google Drive are skipped, so a retry only sends what's missing. • If an upload was interrupted (quit, crash, or lost connection), Lossic finds it on the next launch and asks whether to resume or delete it.

Build Your Own Album now takes FLAC. • Drop .flac files into a Build Your Own Album alongside .m4a — for the FLAC collection you ripped years ago and never gave covers. • Your existing tags are kept. Lossic only writes the album fields you edit (title, artist, album, track number); composer, ISRC, label and everything else stay exactly as they were. An embedded cover is kept unless you replace it. • The audio is never touched or re-encoded — only the metadata blocks are rewritten.

Build Your Own Album, now with YouTube. • Paste a YouTube link into a Build Your Own Album and it becomes a track alongside your .m4a files; the Library plays it in place, with your own transport. • Edit an existing album from the Library: reorder by drag, retitle, add or remove tracks, change covers, then save. Existing files are never re-uploaded. • Move an album to your Google Drive trash from the Library (recoverable for 30 days). • Single click plays a track in the Library. • Albums now carry a richer manifest (track order, titles, per-track format) that the iPhone app reads directly.

The Demo Disc now lives in the Lossic app menu (top-left menu bar): choose Lossic ▸ Try Demo Disc to explore ripping without a CD, and Lossic ▸ Exit Demo to leave it. When a CD matches more than one release of the same recording, an edition dropdown lets you pick the right one and updates the cover art.

Version 0.2.0 adds the shared Lossic subscription and 30-day full-feature trial, safer CD identification, Discogs URL and barcode lookup, improved classical track handling, and clearer recovery after a completed or failed rip.
