A fix-up release after a full review of the app on iPad and iPhone, in all three languages, with profiles aged 3 to 6. NOTABLE FIXES • Leaving a Music lesson no longer leaves the whole app stuck in landscape. • Deleting a picture in My art room now goes through the parent gate, and the dialog says which picture. • The English interface shows English titles for all 87 coloring pages: in the picker, the title bar and the art room. • Three-year-olds get the right rule of one lesson per play ticket in School readiness, Spell a word and Writing. • Catch the color always finishes; Letter bubbles pop when a finger slides over them; bubbles no longer overlap. • The sound card for q teaches the right sound; the example word for y is now "nurse". • The shapes math lesson shows shape names in the current language. • Watch-and-listen lessons with nothing to get wrong award three stars. • The "Open Settings" button in School readiness goes through the parent gate like every other entrance. ON IPHONE • The Music lesson end screen, pick cards, key labels and count-in fit a landscape screen; Try again and Next are tappable. • Build a word tiles are bigger, and the sounding-out strip at the top no longer pushes the boards away. • The Flip cards level list, the sound detail dialog and the sign-in button no longer overflow. • Stats lay out in two columns; the age slider runs from 2 to 12. SMALL BUT USEFUL • Tapping a locked lesson tells a child to do the earlier one first instead of staying silent. • Creating the first child goes straight from the parent gate to the form and then home. • The "New" tag on badges clears after viewing; tap a badge to see it big. • Tone marks are drawn on an "a" instead of a dotted circle; the button after a writing lesson says "Next letter". • Many English counts now use proper singular and plural; the Japanese parent area uses kanji for easier reading.

Music: notes that fall onto a staff, a tempo button, and a library of 100 songs. FALLING NOTES • Notes fall from the top down the exact key column they name, as tall as they are long. A child sees where a finger goes without reading note names — something a three-year-old cannot do yet. • A note that is held longer is taller, so a child can see how a half note differs from a quaver. The two used to differ only in the width of a box, which children did not notice. • The staff fills the gap between the note row and the keyboard — space that used to sit blank across nearly half an iPad screen. TWO WAYS TO PLAY • Practice, the default: the staff stops and waits at the note a child has to press, for as long as they need. No note ever slides past, and the Songs screen has no way to lose. Press faster than the beat and the staff keeps up; scoring follows the order of the notes, not the timing. • Perform: the song runs in tempo from start to finish. It opens with a four-beat count-in, and notes pass the line whether or not they are played. A wrong key is still never punished; at the end we count only the notes a child caught, never the ones they missed. • One button switches between them. Little ones stay in Practice; Perform is for a child who knows the song and wants to stretch. A THREE-STEP TEMPO BUTTON • Slow, steady, quick — drawn as a tortoise, a hare and a horse; one tap moves to the next. The middle setting is exactly the song's own tempo. TURNS LANDSCAPE WHEN A SONG NEEDS IT • Songs that span many keys turn the screen landscape, so every key stays wide enough for a three-year-old's finger. The threshold comes from the device in hand, so an upright iPad is left alone. • The song list says in advance which songs will turn. Leaving the music screens restores portrait. SONG LIBRARY: 15 TO 100 • Laid out as a grid so songs are easier to find: 76 written for this app, 24 folk and classical tunes with their origins named under the title. Dino Kids is what Digi Dinos gives back to the community: free, no advertising, nothing to buy inside, and not one lesson held back until you pay.

• Piano lessons now play the tune for your child first, with a button to hear it again as many times as they like. • The English app no longer shows Vietnamese: 16 picture topics, 40 badges and the whole School-readiness subject are translated. • Small fixes to voice and language handling. • Music screen fix: long songs now show every note across several lines, and the keyboard is a more natural size.

The piano task narration now ships inside the app • 117 recordings in three languages are bundled, so the task is read aloud even with no network and no account Fixes to the piano lessons for children who cannot read yet • The task is read aloud when it appears. Before, a child had to read the text to know what to do — and three of the four exercise types run on a timer, so the beat was gone before they understood • The rhythm exercise counts in four beats at the song's tempo before scoring starts, and tapping during the count-in is never a miss • Finishing a lesson offers three ways on: Try again · Next lesson · Pick another Three things today — a daily plan • Three tiles at the top of the home screen, fixed once a day for each child. The first is usually a review of the letter they get wrong most, and one tap goes straight to it • Finished tiles get a tick. Nothing is locked and there is no cross anywhere — this is a suggestion, not homework A 7-day summary for parents • How many minutes, spread over how many days, how that compares with the seven days before, and three letters worth practising next week • Worked out entirely on the device, behind the parental gate, sent nowhere A daily reminder • One notification a day at a time you choose, written for you and not for your child • Off by default, switched on in Settings behind the parental gate A "New" flag when fresh lessons arrive • The subject that just received new content says so, and the flag clears once your child opens it Music — piano from zero • 27 lessons across 6 stages, from "touch it and it sings" to songs using all five fingers. The keyboard shows one octave at a time so every key is wide enough for a small finger, and every key sounds when touched — even a wrong one • Free play across three octaves: no lesson, no stars, as long as the child likes • 15 familiar songs, all public domain; traditional tunes name their origin under the title • Piano progress syncs with the account like every other subject: practise on iPad, open iPhone and the lesson is where it was left Settings, tidied • One "Unlock all lessons" switch instead of two separate ones • Credits and licences moved to their own screen, opened by a button in Settings • The maze list drops its unlock button and keeps a single line of explanation

Playtime now holds all seven games • Maze, Connect the Numbers and Flip Cards have moved out of Other Skills and into Playtime, alongside the four games already there • They need a play ticket too: one ticket opens one puzzle, including the one behind the "Next" button. Tickets come from finishing lessons • Tap Back before playing anything and the ticket returns to the pouch See how many tickets are left • The Playtime screen always shows the ticket count, including when it is zero • With no tickets left, Dino points the way back to the lessons, and the finish panel keeps a single button that goes there For parents • Settings → Playtime → "Free play" lifts tickets for a session, or raise how many lessons one ticket costs

English, a new subject • The ABC alphabet: tap a card to hear the letter name, then an example word • Counting 0–20: each card says the same quantity as a numeral, a row of countable dots and the English word • Handwriting A–Z, capitals first and then lower case, scored stroke by stroke like every other alphabet Alphabet screens for all three languages • The alphabet screen now covers Vietnamese (29 cards) and Japanese (104 hiragana + 46 katakana), not only English • Vietnamese cards are drawn from the handwriting strokes, so the card for A and the writing sheet for A are one shape For parents • Sign in with Apple — quicker, and no extra password to remember. Signing in with an email address still works exactly as before. Fixes • The greeting on the home screen is no longer cut off on iPhone • The child-picker screen always has a way back, even before any profile exists
