iPhone
Drop a pin where you watch from. Your phone buzzes a few minutes before a giant airplane flies over it, and tells you which way to look. Free, and there's no account.
Your phone buzzes a few minutes before a giant airplane passes over you, and tells you exactly where to look.
That's the whole app. Close it and we'll find you.
WHAT AN ALERT LOOKS LIKE
Airbus A380-800
Look southeast at 6:52PM — 7 min, 29° up
A direction, a countdown, and how far up to tilt your head. Step outside and it's there.
HOW YOU SET IT UP
Drop a pin where you watch from — the back yard, the office window, a park bench. Name it. That's setup. There is no account to make, no email to hand over, and no password to forget.
WHAT WAKES YOU
We only buzz you for the real thing. Out of the box that means widebody jets passing within 14 nautical miles of your pin, above 30,000 feet, three to eight minutes before they get there, in daylight. Every one of those is yours to change, along with quiet hours and a cap on how many alerts a day you'll take.
FOLLOW MY PHONE
Turn it on and your spot travels with you, so a road trip or a hotel room gets the same heads-up your back yard does. We only ever keep where you are now — never where you've been.
THE LIVE MAP
Open the app to see what's in the sky around you right now, drawn from public ADS-B data. Tap an aircraft for its type, altitude, speed and heading.
UP TO THREE SPOTS
Home, work, and the cabin. Each one gets its own alerts.
Flyover Alerts is a subscription: $7.99/month or $39.99/year, auto-renewing, cancel anytime in Settings.
