Draw circuits, write VHDL blocks with Circuit Deck Pro, and explore their logical simulation. Work with buses, clocks, and timing diagrams on one canvas. Circuit Deck is your workspace for drawing clear circuits, exploring their logic, and bringing them straight into your presentations. Designed for Mac, it brings together block and electrical diagrams, digital logic, truth tables, Karnaugh maps, timing diagrams, and blocks described in VHDL. It is made for anyone who teaches, studies, or needs to explain a circuit without spending time polishing a drawing. FROM THE CANVAS TO YOUR PRESENTATION • Draw with IEC and ANSI electrical symbols, logic gates, multiplexers, registers, and other digital blocks. • Align elements with grid snapping and snapping to edges, centers, pins, and wires. Connections follow components when you move them. • Add technical text, subscripts, superscripts, and overlines to Boolean expressions. • Copy a schematic into Keynote as crisp vector artwork with a transparent background. You can also export vector PDF or PNG and print on one or more pages. WRITE BEHAVIOR IN VHDL With Circuit Deck Pro, you can add a VHDL block and describe its behavior beside the schematic. The editor offers syntax highlighting, line numbers, configurable indentation, and error messages with line and column positions. Entity ports become the block’s pins; a vector port can remain a bus or appear bit by bit. Blocks with the same entity share their source code. The supported subset of VHDL covers constructs needed for many combinational and sequential circuits, including processes, signals, vectors, logic and arithmetic operators, clock edges, and asynchronous resets. You can observe the block’s behavior alongside the other components in your schematic. Circuit Deck provides logical simulation of the supported VHDL constructs. It is not a full VHDL simulator: it does not implement delta-cycle scheduling, timing delays, or the entire VHDL language. EXPLORE THE LOGIC • Start simulation to change inputs and follow values through the network, including buses, flip-flops, registers, counters, and ALUs. Step the clock manually or let it run. • Start with a Boolean expression written as text to derive the truth table, Karnaugh map, and corresponding circuit. • Create a truth table from a combinational circuit or synthesize a circuit from a table. Derive sum of products and product of sums automatically. • Generate Karnaugh maps, draw groups yourself or request a minimal cover, then return to the table or schematic. • Draw timing diagrams with levels, buses, and transitions. When a diagram is on the same canvas as a circuit, calculate outputs from the input waveforms. • Prepare a PAL structure for a lesson or exercise. YOUR DOCUMENTS, ALWAYS ACCESSIBLE Schematics are local files: no account is required, and there are no ads or tracking. You can keep the built-in help open beside your document as you work. The free version includes up to three components per document, truth tables with three inputs and one output, three-input Karnaugh maps, and simulation of available circuits. Circuit Deck Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited components, truth tables with up to twelve inputs and eight outputs, Karnaugh maps with up to six inputs, timing diagrams, PAL structures, and the ability to write VHDL blocks. A document created with Pro remains openable, editable, copyable, exportable, and printable in the free version. You can read and simulate VHDL blocks already in a document; editing their source code requires Pro. Creation limits never remove content already in a document.

Version 1.6 adds a new starting point for exploring logic: • Derive the truth table, Karnaugh map, and corresponding circuit from a Boolean expression written as text. • Fixed an issue with circuit generation from a truth table.
