Cineprompter by CinematicPro
Teleprompter over your camera
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Your script floats over the Camera app while you record, so you keep eye contact with the lens. Free, no account needed, and your scripts never leave your iPhone.
Cineprompter by CinematicPro is a teleprompter that floats over your camera. Start your script, open the Camera app, and it keeps scrolling on top - so you can read your lines while looking straight into the lens.
Record videos, reels, vlogs, interviews, online classes, speeches and presentations without memorising a word.
FLOATING TELEPROMPTER
• Your script keeps scrolling over the Camera app and your Home Screen
• Move it and resize it, so it sits right under the lens
READ AT YOUR OWN PACE
• Adjust scroll speed, font size, line spacing and side margins
• A countdown before it starts, and pause or resume whenever you like
• Loop a script to rehearse it
• Mirror mode for beam-splitter teleprompter rigs, and 90° rotation for phones on a mount
• Pick your text colour
• The full-screen prompter and the floating prompt keep their own settings
BRING IN A SCRIPT YOU ALREADY HAVE
• Import a PDF, Word (.docx) or text file
• Scan printed pages with the camera, as many as your script runs to
• Pages are read on your iPhone. They are not uploaded.
YOUR SCRIPT LIBRARY
• Write, save and reuse scripts for every video, talk and class
• Picks up where you stopped reading
• Light or dark app theme - the reading screens always stay dark, so no bright light spills into your shot
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your scripts stay on your iPhone. They are not uploaded, synced or backed up by us, and we cannot read them.
• No account needed: guest mode includes every reading feature.
• Sign in with Apple or Google, if you want to - it is optional.
FREE, WITH ADS
Cineprompter is free to use and supported by ads. In India and some other countries the free plan has no limit on scripts; elsewhere it keeps up to 10.
CALM
Calm is an optional monthly subscription that takes the interruptions out. In India and some other countries, Calm removes full-screen ads, and small banners stay on some screens. Elsewhere, Calm removes all ads and the script limit. Founding members in India join at a launch price that stays theirs for as long as they subscribe.
Calm is an auto-renewable monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings.
