Build the road. Keep the car moving. Place tiles, cross goal lines, collect pickups, unlock vehicles, and chase your best score in Classic or Gas & Electric mode. Build the road. Keep the car moving. Waybound is a quick, satisfying old-school road-builder where your car never stops — you lay the path ahead, one tile at a time. Score rises with every cell you travel. Miss a turn, hit a dead end, or let the pavement wear out, and the run is over. NOT JUST ENDLESS DRIVING Your car rolls forward automatically. You choose what goes in front of it: straights that match the current heading, curves you rotate into place, and — once you've gone far enough — longer two-cell pieces that open up bigger layouts. Tap a tray piece to auto-place it on the path, or tap any tile you placed to rotate it a quarter turn. ROAD THAT WEARS OUT Every tile can handle three passes. The first looks fine. The second fades. The third crumbles into rubble. Loops won't save you forever — keep building fresh road north. CHECKPOINTS AND REWARDS Checkered goal lines appear ahead on the grid. Build road until the car crosses one to earn a reward and push the next checkpoint farther north. The car starts slow and picks up speed after each goal — stay ahead of it. TWO WAYS TO PLAY • Classic — endless road with no fuel limit. Pure score-chasing. • Gas / Electric — every move drains your tank or battery. Drive through gas stations or charge stations to refill without stopping. Watch the gauge and plan a short detour when you need to. PICKUPS ON THE ROAD Grab bonuses as you go: • Bonus Points — stack your score • Clear Obstacles — clear the path up to the next goal line • Headlights — see farther ahead • Ghost Drive — phase through obstacles for a few steps • Floaters — temporary water-ready boost • New Vehicle — unlock a car for your garage YOUR GARAGE Start in the Waybound, then unlock Scout and Amphibian from pickups. Scout is light, quick, and electric. Amphibian is water-ready and electric too. Pick your ride before each run.
