THE LAYER BY LAYER METHOD You learn the same method most people use to solve their first cube, broken into small steps you can finish in one sitting: • The white cross • The first layer corners • The middle layer edges • The yellow cross • Positioning and orienting the last layer Each step builds on the one before, so you always know where you are and what comes next. SEE EVERY MOVE IN 3D Every move and every algorithm is demonstrated on an animated 3D cube. Rotate it with your finger to look at any face, replay a sequence as many times as you need, and follow along with your own cube in your other hand. Watching a turn happen beats reading notation you do not know yet. SCAN YOUR REAL CUBE Point your camera at your cube and Cubelab reads the colours of each face. If it misreads a sticker you can correct it before solving. From there it follows along with the cube actually sitting in front of you. Scanning is optional, everything else in the app works without it, and images never leave your device. AN ALGORITHM CHEAT SHEET Once the method clicks, you will want the algorithms without the lesson around them.
