A new look: Liquid Glass on iOS 26, from your step columns to every card. Columns are taller now, with each day's count above them. Also: your steps match Apple Health exactly, everywhere in the app; Stats opens straight away; and Ranks stay right across time zones, with your place pinned and the steps to the next one.

New Stats tab: a long read of how you move. Your typical day, strongest weekday, busiest hours, records and your year, month by month. This year is free for everyone; earlier years and your all-time total come with Pro. Also: the Feed now lives on Ranks, next to your friends and groups, and every Ranks window counts from the day you joined Stepdy.

Feed: See what your friends and everyone on Stepdy walked, ran and rode. Cheer them on, comment, and share your own day or activity with a photo and your stats on top. Friends: Add friends by username or link and compete on your own friends leaderboard. Share your activities on social media! Choose a classic card, use your own photo, or create a transparent sticker. You decide whether to include your route.

Stepdy 1.0.9 takes you beyond the step count: record your activities on a live 3D map, with your Apple Watch heart rate. • Activities: record walks, runs, hikes, rides and 23 more — outdoors with GPS and a 3D map that follows you, indoors with time, heart rate and energy. • Replay in 3D: fly along any route afterwards, with splits, pace, elevation and heart-rate zones. • Apple Watch: see your heart rate live while you record, and save the workout to Apple Health so it counts toward your Activity rings. • Apple Health: your Apple Watch workouts and their routes appear in your history, and VO₂ max, resting heart rate and more in Your fitness. • New widgets: today, big numbers, steps & water, streak, this week, distance, race, world rank and your group — plus a water widget with a one-tap glass and a Log water control. • Your profile is now the avatar at the top of the Steps tab. • Privacy policy updated for activities and Apple Watch: routes and heart rate stay on your iPhone.

Stepdy now celebrates with you — 1.0.8 brings a weekly recap, real trails to walk and a new icon. • Moments: hit your goal, reach a streak milestone, earn a badge or pass a friend, and Stepdy marks it — with sparks, a medal and a tap you can feel. • Weekly recap: your week as a story every Sunday evening — total, best day, distance, days on goal and where you finished in your group. Any page can be shared. • Journeys: cover Manhattan, Hadrian's Wall, the Tour du Mont Blanc, the Nakasendō, the Lycian Way or the Camino de Santiago with your everyday steps, on a map, with your group on the same trail. • Cheer: send a clap to anyone on your group's board. • Share as video: your card with the number counting up, ready for a story. • Final stretch: the last steps before your goal, on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. • Water widget: today's water on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. • A livelier Stepdy: a podium for the top three, cards that open into their screens, a chart you can run a finger along and water that tilts with your phone. • A new app icon: the sneaker. The classic one is still in You > App icon.

Make Stepdy yours — 1.0.7 brings app icons, new bottles and a glass of your own size. • App icons (Pro): choose how Stepdy looks on your Home Screen — Ember, Midnight, Paper, Ocean or Mono, alongside the classic. • New bottles (Pro): a steel flask, a sports bottle and a carafe for the Water tab. • Your own glass (Pro): set the exact size of the cup you drink from and log it in one tap. • Export (Pro): save every day's steps, distance, energy and water as a spreadsheet. • Sharing fixed: your cards now go to Instagram, WhatsApp, Messages and more as a single image, and Save Image puts them in Photos.

Water, streaks and a walking plan — Stepdy 1.0.6 is our biggest update yet. • Water: log a glass in one tap and watch your bottle fill. Gentle reminders every few hours stop the moment you reach your goal. • A taller weekly chart, now with Day, Week and Month views. Tap any day to see its steps. • Streaks: a new screen with your current and longest streak, the next milestone and a calendar of every day you walked. • Golden hour: Stepdy finds the hour you walk most and can nudge you right then. • Walking plan (Pro): a week of targets built from your own last two weeks, with easy days to recover. • Share cards: swipe between your day, your week and your streak before you share. • Invite friends from a new card on Steps and Friends.

Stepdy now keeps going with the app closed. • Widgets — your step count, goal ring and streak on the Home Screen, and beside the Lock Screen clock. Your group's board too, plus a Control Centre button. • Apple Watch — today's steps, your group's board and a running race on your wrist, with four complications for the watch face. • Live Activities — a step race now runs on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, both numbers moving in real time. • Notifications — an evening nudge on a day your streak is at risk, a note the moment you pass your goal, a Sunday recap, and a push when somebody messages your group or challenges you to a race. • Group boards stay honest. Steps now publish in the background, so a member who walked all day but never opened the app no longer sits at zero next to everyone else. • Group targets — set one weekly number that everyone's steps add up to. • Group against group — take on another group with their code, and every member's steps count on both sides. • Insights — which day of the week is your quietest, when in the day you actually walk, and a heatmap of every day Stepdy has counted. • Badges — fifteen of them, every one earned from a day you really walked. • Following — keep an eye on other walkers without joining a group. The list is private. • Share your day as a card, ask Siri for your step count, type any daily goal you like, and take up to two rest days a week without losing your streak.
