Yukaria Spirit is meditation as spiritual discipline. It is meditation with direction and destination, guided by the Holy Spirit and seeking the Kingdom of God above all else. We give our attention to the breath, for God has breathed into us both life and Spirit. And because it is easy to stop truly paying attention without noticing, we join to it a simple method that sharpens concentration. This is meditation in the Holy Spirit. From that ground, we practice healing meditation — working together with the Holy Spirit, in prayer, toward healing. This is the practice. The app is how we carry it between meetings. Today the app is a companion to our in-person classes, which you'll find listed inside as events. On your own, it keeps your sessions and closes each one with a bell. At the sound of the bell we make our transition back into daily life, with a renewed and focused spirit. To nurture the practice, Yukaria Spirit lets you set a daily goal and keep it — so that discipline develops over time. You can also bring a prayer request through the app to our teacher, Victoria. She meditates and prays over each one privately as it arrives — or at the gathering it was offered for. All are welcome. For while the gate is narrow, the path is lit.
