S&T Exchanger supports shell-and-tube heat exchanger design and evaluation with process inputs, resolved fluid properties, thermal and hydraulic calculations, geometry controls, design guidance, and report-ready outputs.
Build mode sizes a design from the current process basis. Evaluate mode checks an entered exchanger against the same accepted calculation path. Review inlet, bulk, and outlet property stations; heat duty; corrected LMTD; overall coefficients; film coefficients; pressure drop; area; and overdesign.
The app includes phase-aware routing, correlation traceability, configurable tube and shell geometry, Design Advisor screening, preliminary general-arrangement views, RFQ readiness, and PDF reports. Unsupported property or phase states fail closed and remain visible for engineering review.
Results support engineering analysis and do not replace qualified engineering, vendor, mechanical, code, or safety review.
