Save sentences as well as words and phrases, and browse your highlights and notes as cards. • Listen to PDFs and follow the highlighted text on the page. • Organize articles into folders. • Pages now turn like a printed book on every device. After following a link, search result or contents entry, tap the back button to return to where you were. • Support for iPhone Duo, a short tour for new users, Delete iCloud Data in Settings, more book details in OPDS catalogs, and more natural pauses in on-device narration. On iOS 18–26, Chinese narration pauses when the screen is locked and continues when you return to the app. iOS 27 is recommended. This update requires iOS 18 or later.

Read, listen and save more of what interests you. • Save web articles from a link or the Safari share sheet. Find books and articles together in the new Library, with separate filters and search results. • Narration and translated subtitles are now included in Pro, with a 45-second preview per book for free users. Separate listening credits are no longer needed. • Read along with highlighted text, change voices and move between reading and listening without losing your place. • Download voice packs for supported on-device narration. Listening is now available in mainland China for supported languages. • Choose new page-turning effects, use external keyboard shortcuts, and browse and search OPDS catalogs. • Improved article covers and AI summaries, voice selection after a book-language change, and stability when choosing a subtitle translation language. • Fixed an issue where the app didn’t respond to taps on iPad with iPadOS 26. • Looking up a Chinese word now plays Chinese pronunciation and shows pinyin. • Word pronunciations load faster outside mainland China.

New • Library Sources: add folders from Dropbox, OneDrive or Box, a WebDAV server or an OPDS catalog, then browse them in the app and tap a book to start reading. You can also import books from Google Drive with the + menu on your Bookshelf. • AI Summary (Pro): summarize a whole book with an overview, key points and characters. Choose Read So Far to cover only what you've read, spoiler-free. • Similar Books (Pro): reach the end of a book to see a few similar ones, or tap Find Similar in the book's menu at any time. • Review Statistics: look back on your reviews by week, month or year in your Study Book, with your recall rate, mastery and cards due in the next 7 days. Improvements • A new card on Home shows how many books you've finished this year, month by month, and the Finished page is now a timeline by year and month. • Choose Bold in Reading Settings to show the whole book in bold. • Newly created audiobooks no longer read the table of contents aloud.

New • Discover (outside mainland China): Browse public-domain classics, add them to your bookshelf in one tap, and listen to many of them with Pro. • Word lists and review: Organize saved words into word lists, review them on a spaced-repetition schedule and get a daily reminder. • Import word lists: Import Anki decks and CSV word lists, along with your review progress. • Reading statistics: Look back on your reading time and the books you've read by week, month or year. • Home Screen widget: See the book you're reading and how long you've read today without opening the app. • Collections: Sort the books on your bookshelf into collections. Improvements • Typography and reading settings: Adjust paragraph and letter spacing in redesigned reading settings. • Book chat: Follow-up questions now open in a half sheet, and you can swipe right to see your chat history. • Finished books: Reaching the last page marks a book as finished, and your bookshelf can filter for them. • More app languages: 10 new app languages, for 21 in total.
