Born as an homage to the retro-futuristic spacecraft computer interfaces of science fiction, EXCORDER turns your iPhone into a real-time sensing device.
Its distinctive interface combines a dark background, color-coded geometric panels, information rails, and instrument-style displays.
Camera, LiDAR, GPS, compass, barometer, accelerometer, gyroscope, microphone — explore light, distance, location, direction, pressure, magnetic fields, vibration, sound, and more through one unified interface.
* REAR IMAGING -
View the rear camera feed with real-time overlays for approximate LiDAR center distance, vertical angle, and azimuth.
RGB data around the ranging target is visualized as a simulated 32-band spectrum from 400–700 nm.
※ The simulated spectrum represents RGB-derived color characteristics, not physical wavelength measurements from a spectrometer.
※ LiDAR readings are approximate and may be affected by reflective or transparent surfaces, thin objects, and environmental conditions. Do not use them for precision or safety-critical measurements.
* NAVIGATION -
View your location on Apple Maps with latitude, longitude, GPS altitude, and heading.
The built-in barometer provides atmospheric pressure and relative altitude from the start of measurement.
Explore the magnetic field detected by iPhone with three-axis measurements and total field strength. Using the iPhone's relative 3D position from ARKit and the field strength measured at each point, EXCORDER estimates and displays the spatial direction in which the magnetic field is likely to become stronger as you move the device during a scan.
Three-axis acceleration is sampled at 100 Hz, with FFT analysis providing a 0–50 Hz vibration spectrum, peak frequency, and peak amplitude.
Local temperature and relative humidity are also retrieved for environmental context.
※ The scan arrow does not indicate a magnet's north or south pole or the direction of magnetic field lines, nor does it determine the location or distance of a magnetic source. Estimates may become unstable depending on the surrounding environment, device movement, and ARKit tracking conditions.
* ACOUSTIC -
Analyze microphone input with relative digital level (dBFS) and a 32-band frequency spectrum from 40 Hz–16 kHz.
A 1.0×–6.0× digital microphone boost can be applied to both acoustic analysis and speech transcription.
※ dBFS is a relative digital level, not a calibrated sound pressure level (dB SPL).
* VOICE DECODE -
Live transcription supports Japanese, English, Spanish, Korean, German, and French.
On iOS 26 and later, EXCORDER supports on-device speech recognition. Using Apple Translation, recognized speech can be translated in real time into a selected target language: Japanese, English, Spanish, Korean, German, or French.
* PRIVACY -
Camera video, depth, simulated spectrum, audio, acoustic spectrum, pressure, magnetic field, acceleration, and vibration analysis data are not automatically stored permanently. When you use SNAPSHOT or RECORD, the currently displayed screen is saved to your photo library as an image or video. Transcription and translation content is discarded when the app closes.
Your coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo to retrieve weather information. Except for this weather request and Apple’s speech recognition services when required, sensor data is not transmitted off the device. EXCORDER does not send images or videos saved by the user to the developer's servers.

What's New in Version 1.1.0
1. EXCORDER is now free to download, with all features available through a one-time Full Unlock purchase. This is not a subscription.
2. Everyone who previously purchased the paid version of EXCORDER automatically receives permanent Full Version access at no additional charge. Access can also be restored after updating, reinstalling, or moving to another device.
3. New users can try the complete EXCORDER feature set for a cumulative total of three minutes. Remaining trial time is preserved when the app closes and resumes on the next launch.
4. When the trial ends, measurement features stop safely and the Full Unlock screen appears. A successful purchase unlocks all features immediately without restarting the app.
5. StoreKit 2 purchase verification and Restore Purchase support have been added. Previously verified Full Version access is preserved during temporary connection or App Store service failures.
6. Access status, remaining trial time, and Unlock / Restore controls now appear near the EXCORDER title.
7. The purchase interface now supports Japanese and English. It appears in Japanese for the Japan region and in English for other regions.
8. A FACE DETECT ON/OFF control has been added to the TRUEDEPTH row in BIO SCAN. The selected setting is preserved between launches.
9. Turning FACE DETECT off hides the front-camera view, disables face and 3D human detection, and removes face detection from anomalous-activity alerts.
