Your map is in decimal degrees. You need a bearing and a distance. By hand it is slow, and it goes wrong. PlotZone does all three on one screen. ONE-TIME PURCHASE No subscription, no in-app purchase, no advertising. No account, no sign-up, no password. No data collected: everything stays on your device. MISSIONS Group your points and zones by operation. Each point carries a name, its coordinates, a radius in metres, feet or nautical miles, and a colour. Drag it on the map. One tap undoes it if you got it wrong. BULL'S EYE Pick one point as the reference. PlotZone then gives the bearing and distance from it to every other point, and draws rings around it every 10 NM out to 120 NM, with radials every 30°. COORDINATES Five formats, both ways: decimal degrees, degrees-minutes-seconds, degrees-decimal-minutes, MGRS and UTM. Touch the map to read a position, touch a result to copy it. ZONES Type the vertices in your usual coordinate format, or draw the polygon with your finger. Adjust each vertex, watch its area and perimeter as you go, then save the zone into a mission to keep it. AIRSPACE Load your working area from your own files, whether they hold a georeferenced chart or plain outlines. PlotZone reads KMZ, KML, OpenAir and GeoJSON. Outlines, markers and names all come in on a single load, with no need to open the file a second time. Show several areas at once, set their opacity, turn each on and off with one tap. GARS GRID Overlay the GARS grid at 30' or 15', with its designators. MEASURE Two taps on the map give the heading and distance between them. IMPORT AND EXPORT Export a mission to back it up or pass it on, then import it back with nothing lost. Four formats: PlotZone (.json), KML, KMZ and GPX. BASE MAPS Satellite, hybrid or plan, depending on what you are looking for. ACCESSIBILITY Every control is named for VoiceOver, including the buttons that show nothing but a symbol. WHO IS IT FOR Drone pilots, glider and free-flight pilots, search and rescue teams, surveyors, military personnel. Anyone handed a position in one format who has to work in another. PRIVACY PlotZone does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Your missions are saved on your device alone. Your GPS position is used only to draw you on the map. It is never transmitted or shared. No account, no tracker, no analytics, no advertising. Available in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese and Chinese. ZONES A zone can now be typed, one vertex at a time, in your usual coordinate format. Drawing with your finger is still there, and the app asks which of the two you want. A sector arrives as a written list of coordinates, not as gestures. There is no longer any need to hunt for each vertex by eye on a satellite image. ACCESSIBILITY The colour palettes are named for VoiceOver at last. They used to announce six identical buttons, with no way to tell which one was selected.
