InstantDj was created by a ballroom DJ, dancer and software developer as an easy-to-use DJ app - with more features than a music player, but without the complexity and cost of professional DJ software.

Listen at the same time like a real DJ
The audience hears the music through the main exit. Use the headphone output to prepare the next track and transition.
Fully automatic or by hand
Autoplay plays your playlist and smoothly blends tracks together. Fade in and fade out times as well as overlap can be saved per song.
Professional sound with depth
Three-band tone control, separate tempo and pitch control, echo, surround sound, compressor, limiter, harmonic exciter, stereo widening, transient shaper, chorus, flanger and phaser.
AI audio track separation for up to 6 tracks
After downloading the AI model, InstantDj separates up to six audio tracks: vocals, drums, bass and other instruments. Individual tracks can be highlighted or muted.
BPM always in view
BPM detection determines the tempo for the song and dynamically at the playback position. Colored zones show the classification from “very slow” to “very fast”.
Your music, perfectly organized
The song browser searches selected folders recursively if desired. Sort by name, date, last played, BPM, length or rating.
Your smartphone becomes a remote control
Scan the QR code and control InstantDj without an additional app on the same network: playback, track change, volume and playlist. If you wish, you can stream the live sound to your smartphone.
Stable at every performance
If an audio device is disconnected, InstantDj will continue searching in the background and resume playback once it is back.

- An (offline) AI audio stem separation feature makes it possible to separate vocals, drums, bass, and other instruments into individual stems, allowing you to adjust or mute them independently.
- On Windows and Linux, AI audio stem separation supports NVIDIA CUDA, making it approximately ten times faster than running on the CPU.
- AI audio stem separation can either be precomputed via the headphone player or run in real time on powerful systems.
- Audio processing now includes predefined profiles that can be selected from a drop-down menu.
- The audio pipeline has been enhanced with room simulation, which adapts the sound of the music to the room acoustics or simulates them.
- The compressor has been redesigned and now offers significantly better adjustment options, as well as per-song settings storage.
- The adjustment options for echo, room simulation, the compressor, and audio processing have been moved to separate windows, which can also be used to define custom profiles.
- Transitions and changes to the audio pipeline are now smoothly crossfaded to avoid audible jumps.
- An “Original sound on/off” button enables direct comparison between the original sound and the processed sound.
