Blood results, medication, training and food on one timeline. Import a pathology report as a PDF or photo and chart it against your own laboratory's ranges.
Most training apps stop at the barbell. Pulse Athletica holds the rest of it — what you lifted, what you ate, what you took, and what your blood work says about any of it.
ONE TIMELINE, NOT FOUR APPS
Sets, macros, medication doses and pathology results sit on the same timeline, so a change in a marker can be read next to the training block and the diet that ran beside it.
YOUR BLOOD WORK, YOUR LABORATORY'S RANGES
Import a report as a PDF or photo. Pulse reads the values your laboratory printed and charts them over time against that laboratory's own reference ranges. It does not calculate its own ranges and does not interpret results. Every value is shown for you to confirm before anything is saved, and report files are processed on the device. Your first report is free.
A MEDICATION AND INJECTION LOG THAT ISN'T AN AFTERTHOUGHT
Log what you take, when, the dose and the site, with reminders you set and injection-site rotation. Names are yours to type — there is no built-in library and nothing is suggested.
TRAIN FROM A REAL PLAN
Build a multi-week block from four questions about your goal, schedule and equipment, or import a coach's program from a PDF or photo and train from it the same day.
LOG A SESSION WITHOUT FIGHTING YOUR PHONE
Prescribed sets are ready before you start. Tick each set and rest is timed for you; the screen stays awake while you train, and new bests are called out when you finish. Lose signal in a basement gym and the app holds what you logged until it can save it. Kilograms or pounds.
NUTRITION, WHEN YOU WANT IT
Food logged by the gram against over 1,500 Australian foods or scanned by barcode, calorie and protein targets from your own measurements using published formulas cited in the app, water, and a smoothed trend weight that evens out day-to-day swings.
READINESS AND GOALS
A daily check-in becomes one number that says whether today is a day to push or back off. Set goals for weight, steps, sessions and protein and see progress from what you actually log.
APPLE HEALTH AND YOUR PRACTITIONER
Weight, steps, sleep, active energy, resting heart rate and HRV come in from Apple Health; workouts go back out. Share a PDF or CSV summary with your practitioner from the share sheet.
CYCLE TRACKING
Optional. Log flow, mood and symptoms and see your cycle phase, with blood results placed on the day they were taken. Not a contraceptive or diagnostic tool.
PULSE PREMIUM
Free: workout logging and history, habits, goals, the program builder, cycle tracking, your first pathology report, practitioner export, and reading and deleting everything you have recorded.
Premium (weekly, monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription): training blocks and program import with cardio, nutrition plan upload, logging food and medications, pathology history across reports, full trends, Apple Health sync, the weekly nutrition check-in, and vitamins and minerals.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage it in your App Store account settings.
Pulse Athletica is a fitness and self-tracking tool. It is not a medical device and nothing in it is medical advice. Talk to a qualified professional before starting or changing a training, nutrition or medication routine.

Your rest timer now follows you out of the app, and Pulse comes to your Home Screen.
• Rest on the Lock Screen: tick a set and the countdown appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with the exercise and your next set. It keeps time while your phone is locked and tells you when rest is over.
• Widgets: Today shows your session and how far through it you are, or your rest day and planned cardio. Calories and macros shows calories left with protein, carbs and fat. Both come in Home Screen and Lock Screen sizes and open straight to Training or Food. Widgets only ever show training and food.
• Blood reports from US labs: dates written month-first are now read the right way round.
The Lock Screen timer and Lock Screen widgets need iOS 16.2 or later.
