Crosstela is a cross stitch studio for iPhone and iPad. It is free: no purchases, no subscriptions, no ads, no account. TWELVE PATTERNS TO START The shelf opens with twelve patterns ready to stitch — a portrait, a spiral galaxy, a stack of op art and a stack of little pictures. BRING YOUR CHARTS IN Import PDF charts and the files of popular cross-stitch design programs, OXS included. Crosstela reads the grid, the palette and the symbols — and when a layer cannot be read, it tells you which one and why, instead of importing something silently wrong. TRACK WITHOUT LOSING YOUR PLACE Mark full and part stitches, backstitch, French knots and beads with a finger or Apple Pencil. Undo anything. Park needles where you left them. Isolate one colour, so the rest of the chart recedes and only the work you are doing is lit. WORK ON ONE PIECE AT A TIME Pick a work area and stitch just that. No clock, no deadline, no streak to keep. SEE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE Time stitched, stitches per day, a year at a glance, and what is left thread by thread. An estimate in your own pace — which stays quiet until it has seen enough of your stitching to be honest. MAKE A CHART FROM A PHOTOGRAPH Entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. THREADS BY THEIR REAL NUMBERS Real mill catalogues, by the mills' own colour numbers — and every colour value is marked as published by the mill or approximated by us, so you always know which you are looking at. YOUR WORK STAYS YOURS Sync runs through the private database of your own iCloud account. There is no Crosstela server, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind. iPhone and iPad.
