Watch Jam
Decide what to watch, together
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Find something great to watch, together or on your own. Everyone votes on their own phone, the first title the whole room loves wins, and every yes is saved for later.
The what-to-watch debate, settled in two minutes.
Watch Jam is for the moment everyone is on the couch and nobody can agree. One person opens a jam, everyone else takes a seat from their own iPhone or iPad, and the whole room swipes on the same short reel of movies and shows. The first title everyone says yes to wins, and Watch Jam shows where it's streaming.
Along the way you'll meet movies and shows you'd never have come across. And it's just as much fun on your own: a solo Quick Jam keeps dealing reels until you've found something special for tonight.
DISCOVER SOMETHING NEW
• Every reel is a fresh draw from tens of thousands of movies and shows, not just this week's top ten
• Narrowed to your taste: your streaming services, your genres, a minimum grade, the years you like
• Every title you say yes to lands on your watchlist, so a great find the room passes on tonight is still there next time
HOST TONIGHT'S TICKET
• Choose the streaming services you actually have
• Movies, shows, or both; trending or the all-time popular pool
• Pick genres, a minimum grade, English only, a year range
• Lock what's not up for debate and let the room adjust the rest
FILL THE SEATS
• People in the same room see your jam and tap to join, no code needed
• Or share the room code by Messages
• Everyone votes from their own phone; nobody sees your vote on the current title
THE ROOM DECIDES
• Reels of eight, swipe or grid, with a running band of what's matched so far
• Unanimous picks win outright; if three reels go by without one, you get the closest calls
• Every verdict comes with the poster, the runtime, the cast, and where to stream it
WITH FRIENDS OR ON YOUR OWN
• Compare watchlists with someone nearby: they say yes first, then you both see what you share
• Solo? A Quick Jam runs the same voting just for you and ends in a ranked shortlist of your finds
• Past jams remember what won and who was there
BUILT FOR IPHONE, IPAD, AND IPHONE DUO
The room lives in a sidebar next to the poster, so a tablet on the coffee table works as the big screen for the vote. Unfold iPhone Duo and the same big-screen room fills the inner display; fold it and you're back to the phone layout.
NO ACCOUNTS, NO ADS
Watch Jam needs a first name for your seat and nothing else. A room exists only while the jam runs and is deleted when it ends. Your watchlist and history stay on your device.
SIMPLE PRICING
Everything is free for your first week. After that, joining, solo Quick Jams and comparing watchlists stay free for a good while, and so do your first few hosted jams. Two optional one-time unlocks remove the limits: unlimited hosting (which includes joining) and unlimited joining. No subscription.
