You are the new owner of a small old café — in Paris or in Tokyo, your choice. Sweep out the builders' dust, stock the display case, serve coffee and croissants (or green tea and onigiri) to the people of your street… and one evening, after a good day, hear a quiet meow outside.
Kitty Café Life is a cozy first-person game about looking after a café and the cats who choose it. A father made it for his daughters, and it keeps one rule throughout: nobody is ever in trouble here. No timer pressure, no debt, no failure state — and no cat is ever ill.
FOUR CATS TO WIN OVER
A tuxedo cat, a colourpoint, a ginger kitten and the baker's big marmalade lodger, each with her own arrival story, her own needs and her own favourite spot. Earn her trust, invite her in, and she walks in through the door and asks for her name. Then watch the cats live their own lives: they wander, nap in the cozy bed, climb the cat tree, fall over sideways for catmint — and jump onto a guest's lap to be stroked.
A DAY IN THE CAFÉ
Open up, stock the case, serve your guests inside and out on the terrace, watch them fall for the cats, close up, do the evening chores and go to bed. Every evening ends with a warm line about a cat and a hint about tomorrow. Hire a runner, a server and a sweeper so you can spend your day with the cats — though an order you carry yourself is the only one that earns a tip.
MAKE THE CAFÉ YOURS
Tap the couch and the camera lifts to a plan view: drag the furniture anywhere, turn it, pinch to zoom. Choose walls, floors and awnings in your city's colours. Buy the house next door, then the one beyond it, and wake up to an archway where the wall was. Dress the cats in collars, bandanas and bows — and dress yourself in the Wardrobe, or at the mirror in the little room.
A STREET THAT GROWS
Help the neighbours and the street opens at both ends: a pet shop, a bakery, a flower shop, a haberdashery — and a vet across the road who gives every cat a gentle weekly check-up and a paw stamp for her Well-Cat Card. Market Day dresses the street up, and every cat has a Gotcha Day with a party hat.
THE STORYBOOK
A quest journal written like a picture book: chapters and side stories, a star on the café's storefront for every chapter you finish, and a Sticker Album with thirty stickers to earn — the cats wearing the names you gave them, your city's pastries, the regulars, the rare visitors.
