What a voyage cost. Every fill, repair and expense can name its voyage. A fourth ledger, Cruising expenses, holds provisions, meals ashore, fees, transport ashore and moorings. The Voyage expenses page, after the voyage card in the Log, shows the total, the cost per day and per nautical mile, and each category. What the boat costs. The four ledgers share one Expenses tab. Its first page totals fuel, work and ownership for this month, year to date, last year, all, or dates you choose; add cruising expenses with a tap. Compare any period with another, the same dates last year to start. Export the page as a CSV or a PDF. Every entry, any dates. Each ledger and the log show every entry in the dates you choose. Tap an entry to correct or delete it. Deleting anything now asks first. Measure a tank. Measure, beside each tank on the Fuel Log, takes the gauge by quarters or in gallons. The fuel estimate runs from that reading. Photos on the day. Add up to 12 photos to a day in the log, from the camera or your library. With iCloud sync on, they reach your other device. Sea service. A Sea service page in the Log counts days of service by year for the Coast Guard form: four hours or more under way, with the waters for each leg. Share the summary as text. You attest the time. A track for your chart app. Share as GPX, on the voyage card, sends the positions from the voyage's watches as a track. Maintenance says what the job is. Each item starts with its job: replace, inspect, test, clean, exercise, service or renew. Belts, the heat exchanger and its pencil zinc, and spark plugs have separate lines for inspection and replacement. Dates you recorded stay where they were. Finding your way. Every page has a name. The Index lists every page and finds one by name. Entry forms open over the page, and a link to another page leaves a way back. Update both devices together. A device on an older version that edits a boat saves her without the new ledger and photo lists.

Watches on a passage. On an overnight run or longer, log each change of watch: the time in local or UTC (the other is shown), the position from the GPS or typed as on a chart, course and speed, wind, sea, barometer, sky, sails, engine, and who kept it. From the second fix on, the log works out the speed and course made good, and the barometer's trend reads in the forecast's words. Tap to read the phone's own barometer. Passages: log the departure as you leave and tap Arrived when you get in. The same entry opens to be finished, and while she's under way, every day at sea counts toward the voyage and the water estimate. Dates now follow your phone's calendar. Forms opened in the evening no longer default to tomorrow. The gear that keeps people afloat now goes by its proper name. The gear list, the predeparture checklist, and the passenger briefing say "personal flotation device" (PFD), the Coast Guard’s own term, which covers every wearable and throwable device aboard. The checklist’s provisions line now opens Rainbow’s End Provisioning on the App Store, the family’s meal and shopping planner. And the About and welcome pages close the way every Rainbow’s End app does: the seal, the maker’s line, and the wish.

Corrected issues with various text sizes on iPhone not displaying properly. Enabled scrolling for pages that go below the visual horizon. A page whose content runs past the foot, because you keep iOS text larger or because your boat has more records than a page can hold, now scrolls, with a soft fade at the edge to indicate there is more below. Also aboard: the predeparture checklist's float-plan line now opens Rainbow's End Float Plan on the App Store, and the seal of Rainbow's End Marine sits above the maker's line on the About and welcome pages.
