One date. Six tries. Can you find it?
Dateo takes the logic of Mastermind and applies it to dates. Enter a complete date, then use the colors to get closer to the solution:
• Green: the digit is in the right place.
• Yellow: the digit is in the date, but in a different position.
• Gray: the digit does not appear in the solution.
Try by try, eliminate possibilities, combine the clues, and find the date within six attempts. Choose the date format that suits you: DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY, and other options available in Settings.
Once you solve the puzzle, discover the event associated with that date.
OVER 3,000 PUZZLES TO SOLVE
Dateo includes more than 3,000 dates across 20 themed packs: the 80s, the 90s, Great Movies, Music, Space Exploration, Wars and Conflicts, Technology, Sports, the 20th Century, and many more. Each pack has its own period, theme, and difficulty level.
Earn stars as you play and use them to unlock the packs that interest you. You choose your own path.
GUESS FIRST, DISCOVER AFTER
You do not need to know the event to solve the puzzle. Dateo is all about deduction: enter a date, interpret the colors, and gradually narrow down the possibilities.
Once you find the answer, Dateo reveals what happened that day: movies, historical events, music releases, sporting achievements, technological breakthroughs, space exploration, and more. More than 3,000 facts accompany the puzzles without ever revealing the answer before the game is over.

Every day at midnight, a new puzzle is available to everyone. Solve the daily challenge, keep your streak going, and track your performance over time.
TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
View detailed stats including puzzles played, success rate, attempt distribution, streaks, total points, and stars earned. Complete challenges and unlock up to 50 achievements as you progress.
PLAY ANYWHERE
No account or sign-up required. The game content is included directly in the app, so Dateo works without an internet connection. Your progress stays on your devices and can be synced through iCloud.
