Answer "where are you?" with one tap. They see the name of a place the two of you agreed on beforehand. No address, no map, no history. You decide each time.
Sharing your location all day is a lot to ask.
Saying "I'm at my parents'" and being believed is not.
This app sits between the two.
It does not hand over where you have been. It tells them, when you press the
button, that you are at one of the places you both agreed on.
■ How it works
Beforehand, the two of you share the Wi-Fi of the places you go: home, work,
your parents' house.
When you are asked where you are, you press one button.
Their screen says "At my parents'."
You agreed on those places together, so they already know the names. That is
what makes the answer mean something.
■ What they never receive
Not your address.
Not a map.
Not a history of where you have been.
Not what time you passed through anywhere.
They receive the name of one place you registered. That is all.
■ Your location is never read
This app does not use GPS. It reads only the identifier of the Wi-Fi network
you are joined to, and checks whether it is one you registered.
Even that identifier is not stored as it is. It is locked with a key that
exists only on your phone, so our own servers cannot tell where you have been.
There is no advertising in this app. Advertising systems can collect location.
■ This is not a tool for watching someone
Only the person sending decides whether to send. The other person cannot pull a
reading, and nothing is ever sent automatically on a schedule.
What you can see about them is exactly what they can see about you. There is no
setting where only one side can look.
You can stop sending. They are told that you stopped. You cannot disappear
quietly — and equally, you cannot be watched quietly.
■ Premium (optional)
The free version is fully usable: one partner, one place, and unlimited
sending. If telling them you are home is all you need, the free plan is enough.
One connected person is the limit on Premium too. The number of Wi-Fi networks you can add to a single place is
unlimited even on the free plan.
(A home usually has more than one Wi-Fi network — 2.4GHz and 5GHz are separate
— so limiting this would tell you that you are not home while you are sitting
in your own living room.)
Premium adds:
- Unlimited places (one on the free plan)
- Keep the history for up to a year (seven days on the free plan)
There is no button here for asking someone to send. Asking already happens in
your messages, and building a second path for it inside the app would only
raise how often reassurance gets requested. Ask where you always ask. Answering
is what this app is for.
Premium (pair plan)
¥300 per month or ¥2,800 per year (auto-renewing)
One purchase covers both people in a connected pair.
Manage or cancel any time in your store's subscription settings.
Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, it renews
automatically.
