FayVault: Hide Photos & Videos
Photo Vault & File Manager
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
A private vault for your photos, videos, and files. Encrypted on your iPhone, locked with Face ID, and organized the way you want. Export anything, anytime.
FayVault is a private, on-device vault for the photos, videos, files, and documents you would rather keep to yourself. Lock them behind a PIN and Face ID, organize them into folders and tags, and view or play them without ever leaving the app.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything you add is encrypted on your iPhone with AES-256 before it is stored. Vault content is processed and stored by FayVault on your device. FayVault does not upload your vault files to our servers. Content leaves the vault only when you explicitly export, share, or back it up.
LOCK IT DOWN
- A 4- or 6-digit PIN, your choice
- Face ID or Touch ID, with the PIN always available as a fallback
- Auto-lock immediately, after 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 5 minutes
- Always locks when your device locks
- Your content is hidden in the app switcher
- Repeated wrong attempts slow down, and nothing is ever erased automatically
BRING ANYTHING IN
- Photos and videos from your library
- Files from Files, iCloud Drive, and other file providers
- Share straight from other apps
- Any file type is stored, not just a fixed list
- Your originals are left exactly where they were
ORGANIZE IT PROPERLY
- Folders and subfolders, nested as deep as you like
- Tags, favourites, and recents
- Search by name, tag, or file type
- Sort by name, date, type, or size
- Multi-select for bulk move, tag, favourite, export, or delete
VIEW AND PLAY
- Full-screen photo viewer with zoom
- Native video playback with normal controls
- PDF and document preview
NOTHING GETS TRAPPED
Export is never behind the paywall. You can take your files out at any time, in their original format. Deleted items wait 30 days in Recently Deleted before they go for good.
FAYVAULT PREMIUM
The free vault holds 10 items and 2 folders. Premium removes both limits and adds full encrypted backup and restore.
- Annual: $19.99 per year, auto-renewing
- Lifetime: $29.99, one time
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. An annual subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings.

ONE IMPORTANT THING
FayVault stores your content on your device. Deleting the app or resetting your iPhone removes it. Please export or back up anything you cannot afford to lose.
