Bring water to the boil, lower the eggs in, tap the egg you want and put the phone down. When the time is up ANDA rings loud enough to reach you in the next room — and keeps ringing until you tell it the egg is out. • Half-cooked: 6½ minutes, a runny golden yolk • Full-cooked: 10 minutes, a firm yolk you can slice • Both: two eggs in one pan, one alarm at 6½ minutes and one at 10 The alarm plays through the speaker even with the silent switch on, and keeps working with the screen locked. No account, no ads, no tracking. Nothing leaves your phone.
